It was my husband and I first time there we was passing it and want to try a new place to eat. Now the food was good but for the prices they charge they need to give more food. I had to order extra rice and beans for my husband and they charged me for the snack box and gave me half they box for $4+. Well my husband said no return. The place was like a hangout spot. The cashiers was out in the lobby hanging out talking to friends. Music was like the club ( but good music). $8 for a snack box? Wow!!

Arrived today from the other side of town at 12:30 this afternoon. As I walked in they said they had no meat and only veggies available and to come back in a few hours they were cooking the meat now. I will never return, I drove too far to be disappointed. The fact that they open at 11 am and still wearnt prepared by 12:30 is ridiculous. They should of closed the place down until the food was ready vs. Being greedy trying to serve sides with no damn meat. Horrible

In from NY and have been in Charlotte for 14 years and came across this establishment maybe 6 months ago and I eat here at least 2 times a week sometimes 3. The food is delicious and one of the only true West Indian restaurants in Charlotte. Growing up with a Jamaican mother I can vouch for there food. Its the real deal. PS the cook is also a cutie...

I really enjoy the food here, but the place never is open according to hours they have listed, which is so irritating when I have my mouth set for their food...but if theyd get that together and perhaps get a bigger space where you could actually seat down and eat in...this place would have 5 stars from me!

I always get Jerk Chicken.. I was disappointed twice it wasnt spicy and watery. But I still give it 5 stars! Because all the other countless times the food was AWESOME!!!! Customer Service Fantastic! Not in the best location maybe thats what makes it taste better Everything Good in the Hood!

Impressive. Everything that I ordered was great. I stumbled onto this location and almost passed it up, because they have an old sign "Chicken Box" on the side of their building. They should definetly remove that old name as to not confuse customers. Other than that the food was on point!

We came in with a party of 9 people. We had the best , most sincere hospitality you could ask for while waiting for our individual malls to be made to order. Truly can taste the Harry and soul out into this place...everything is great-so if you dont know just order everything!

My food was sloppy and cold. I could tell it was reheated. I had oxtails and jerk. The jerk was old and i had 3 small oxtails. The mac n cheese was gross and so was the rice. The food was stale and old and overcooked. Tbe yams were good and thats it. Not worth the hype at all

The sides/veggies were great. The Curry goat was ok but could use some spice to make it better. Same for the Curry and Jerk Chickens. Bottom line the meats are slightly bland. Ok flavor but could use some island spices mainly some scotch bonnet pepper to bring it to life

If I didnt FINALLY get (My on point) Jerk Chicken I would have given them a 3! Twice I have TRAVELED 2 eat there an they did not have jerk chicken (my fav from them). Second time I did get some, however the waiting was like 40 minutes or so.

This place is Awesome! TC is so welcoming. The atmosphere is so peaceful with soft carribean music playing while you are enjoying some Awesome food with Awesome customer service. Dont hesitate to stop by.. You will be so happy you did!!

Love Love the food! However, they allowed this man to sit very close to the register who literally asked every man and woman who paid with cash to give him money. It was very uncomfortable. Other than that the food is really great.

One of the best Caribbean restaurants in Charlotte.. you get a lot for your money and the food is authentic & great!. You can also mix & match. My last order was oxtails ,jerk chicken, cabbage & potato salad.
