Came here tonight to try the famous oysters everyone keeps talking about on Yelp and Google Reviews. So I ordered the North Carolina Oysters 6 and they are very fresh and taste very good. Fish can not for any reason not be perfect otherwise it will not be wonderful. And I give it a five star for the Oysters. And the service has been perfect I got a seat right at the Bar. The Place is over all a little small. They play Rock Music from what I think it sounds like at least the not the best one. Notting like eagles more like lots of screaming. I had headphones on anyway.

Popped in for a visit after seeing it was highly rated. Much smaller than I anticipated. A few tap lines but didnt see anything on cask when I was there. Took a seat at the bar and ordered a Centennial IPA. Service was fine but nothing stellar, no conversation or anything like that. Nice little menu. Grabbed a pulled pork sandwich that was pretty good but came with nothing other than a bite sized portion of slaw. Decent atmosphere. Seemed like a little bit of a dodgy area but it was all good. Undecided if I would make this a regular spot or not.

Excellent beer selection, but the food is terribly prepared. It seems like they have the right idea with the menu, but whoever is preparing and cooking the food needs to go: undercooked brat with rubbery casing, bloody reuben "panini" with strange meat that turned into mush in my hands, mac n cheese seems like it came out of a box. Also, the service doesnt seem to care about anything. I dont need to be pampered but dont want to feel like Im bothering you. 2 stars, because I will occasionally come back to try some new beers.

Visited on a Friday night for dinner and drinks. Had an excellent waitress and great food. The service here is all around on point. In addition to our drinks we also had a round of water (it was an extremely hot evening) and there was a gentleman who kept coming around and made sure all of those glasses stayed full. All staff was helpful and friendly. I have got to recommend the wings - good crisp on the skin and tasty sauce. The mac-n-cheese was phenomenal. Everyone at our table was pleased. Well certainly be back.

This is a good place to meet with friends. The service that we experienced was actually pretty good. The bartender is human and shows a normal amount of patience as she should. He decor is of an typical bar with random nicnacs on the walls. The beer selection is pretty good and you can also bring a growler here TÌ get it filled with your favorite beer. If you dont own one you can rent one. Overall I would come back here and recommend this place to my other friends.

Wasnt really impressed with the food. Maybe its a great bar at night but we had wings and they kind of small and too crispy and just and mediocre sauce splashed on top. The gravy fries were ok. I ordered and side of backed beans and bartender/waitress forgot about it, not a huge deal but worth mentioning. I had higher expectations with some of the other great restaurants in the area

I unfortunately cannot rate anything other than the hostess since we were never served. My family was seated, told by the person that seated us that somebody would be with us shortly, and then ignored for 10-15 minutes. There were only 3 other tables, so Im not sure what the issue was. Yes, I could have flagged someone down, but with it being so slow that seems a bit ridiculous.

We visited this place on a self-guided bar crawl on Halloween night. From the outside it looked like your typical, cookie cutter Charlotte craft beer joint so I wasnt expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. Great cocktail menu and execution that didnt disappoint. Equally impressive appetizers (get the fried chicken skins). These people know what theyre doing.

Good craft beer, with a hand pulled cask ale that changes. The couple of times I have been and ate, the food has been hit or miss. If all you drink is budweiser or millercoors and you are looking for dinner, probably not the place youre looking for. However if you want a craft beer, friendly staff and an interesting decor this is what youre looking for.

Really like this pub. Came here for a work trip samples the menu: wings ( Thai spicy goodness) , Reuben sandwiches, bar brats, Italian sausages and gravy fries. Gravy fries not my favorite it has bacon beer curd cheese and gravy. Located in NoDa neighborhood plenty of boutiques and cool murals to explore before or after

1. Free popcorn 2. $2 PBR pints on draft You cant go wrong. Great place to just chill. They have pretty decent food, and an extensive beer list, too. The only thing I would say is that its kind of small, so as it gets late, it gets harder to find a place to sit. Get there fairly early and claim your spot.

This is a great little place for sausages and beer. The beer selection isnt the largest, bit that isnt what they are going for. The beer that they DO have on hand is great...The food is no slouch either. This place is great for watching sports as well. Its got a very unique décor to boot. Give it a try.

First try the fried chicken tacos, i had two and probably could have had four. They were absolutely delicious. I went on a Tuesday night and it was crazy busy while still taken care of their customers. I also tried the Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale which may become my new favorite.

Beer selection and the atmosphere are good. Food is ok. The NC oysters are extremely small. The poutine has pieces of mozzarella, not "cheese curds" like the menu says. Service is pretty bad if youre sitting down. I would go back here unless Im only getting bar service.

One of my favorite spots to hit in NODA. Its a little small inside and can get crammed on the weekends, but the beer selection is always great with rotating drafts and the food is amazing with a lot of it being made in-house...like the sausages which are great.

The food was pretty good for a pub. The atmosphere is very laid back and friendly. The pulled pork wasnt bad but the bbq sauce was different. I would definitely recommend this place for meeting a small group of friends.

Excellent atmosphere for drinking beer, but in an understated way. The house made sausages are great, oysters too. Doesnt require a lot of superlatives to say: its a great spot to sidle in for a while.

Love the chill atmosphere. Perfect place to watch MNF, not very many people. Beers are cheap and food is cooking till midnight. Also, Jennifer Lawrence bought me a beer here.
