First off I have to say the online ordering is great fast easy BUT should allow for more options for add ons. Also a minimum SUBTOTAL of 15$ must be made for delivery. Ok well after placement of my order I guess asking for chicken & vegetables in my fried rice makes my order 6$ more WOW ridiculous!! One of the ladies called me to let me know this. Anywho so after talking about my order and "customizing" I was fairly happy with the outcome and the friendly customer service. Well that all changed when I got my food!! 21$ for a honey chicken bowl with fried rice and egg roll. They forgot my drink the driver had to go back. 21$ for 1 meal for 1 person is crazy ridiculous. I am not the type to cancel an order after its been made and delivered to me but I was very pissed off and mad I was about to tip the driver and send him back with my food. Omar was nice and understanding of why I was upset. Next time I will stick to the regular menu items with no change! 21$ for dinner delivery Im still in shock. Ps. After eating the honey chicken was pretty good. Still not worth 21 bucks thou

Other than food, the service was nothing but awful. On the delivery side, the driver was very impatient and rude. When told to be calm, he then proceeded to scream nothing but profanity at my 2 other friends and I. One of the other people that were on my tab payed her part with 40 dollars instead of 30 (and some change) because all she had was two twenties. The driver then took her money and said he does not have enough change (with a rude tone). He then drove off with the intention off hitting one of us with his vehicle and her money, which is in fact stealing (this is when the worst part comes in). The Manager of the company thought nothing of it sent back another driver with ONLY TWO dollars, might I remind you that the other driver did not deserve a tip. The manager then told us over the phone that they would never deliver to our address again. I would never recommend this eating establishment to anyone I know.

I cannot say enough about fortune cookie. Not a single thing on their menu that I wouldnt order again. You know how most Chinese food tastes like leftovers? Like it was definitely made 3 days ago and reheated? Or its been simmering in a thick sugary sauce for 8 hours and now all the vegetables are soft? (Ya know what I mean) Fortune cookie does NOT taste like leftovers. Its honestly the only Chinese takeout place I can name where everything on their menu is not only top notch but tastes freshly made and it makes SUCH A DIFFERENCE. Its clear the owners and employees care a lot about their food. Restaraunt is always spotless when I show up to pick up my food, and delivery is always prompt and friendly when Im too lazy/drunk to go get it myself. Prices are also super reasonable. Honestly the best Chinese takeout place Ive found Im Charlotte. I dont order anywhere else.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! This place does have great food! However I called to order delivery and was told 30 to 40 min, so 40min gets here and I call just to make sure they are at least on the way and then I am told 1hr to 1hr and a half. So little irritated about that. Then I receive a call that they cant find my apartment so I go outside walking around to see if I can find them, I am explaining to them how to find my apartment and get told that they are not from here so they have no clue what I am talking about. Finally I find the guy and he is just sitting in his car, does not even bother to get out and walk around and try to find my place, plus he is extremely rude when I try to explain how to find my apartment said yea he didnt care. So yes they have good food but I care about customer service and they are the WORST EVER!!!

Very very rude customer service. Delivery man called to say he was downstairs however his calls were not coming through. When the store called to come down stairs, the delivery mans call came through as well and he says "You need to come get the food Ive been waiting for you too long already" I was so shocked by how rude he was and even when I went to sign for food, he was still being disrespectful and rude. I called the store to tell them about my experience and they were just as rude. It is truly sad that they are so ignorant to good customer service and I will never support a restuarant who does not respect their customers. I am a regular and I will be spreading the word to every one to avoid this restuarant.

Poor customer service-good food IF they give you the right food. They gave me the wrong food last night. When I called back the lady who answered the phone said "you should have called last night". Not sorry, our bad, oops...but you should have called last night? Now I am driving back to return this awful smelling curry noodle bowl, burning more gas and wasting my time for their mistake. They will get no more of my business. The food was a gift for someone, who went hungry last night. Thanks.

I really cant say much about the service (it seemed to be indifferent, at best), but I do have to comment about the food. Food-wise, its really just your typical Chinese place, but there is definitely something wrong with the chicken. I have never seen chicken come in such weird shapes and sizes - definitely hard to tell it actually came from a live chicken at one time. Where do they get that stuff from? Just based on that alone, Im definitely not going back.

"Wok Express" definitely stood out among Chinese Restaurants in Charlotte. The owner was the friendliest, nicest chef in town and prepared whatever you like, just the way you like it. The new owners, Fortune Cookie, are okay -- my special dish doesnt have the touch of the previous owners, however, these new folks do attempt to prepare my favorites as ordered. I usually stop by on Friday nights after an evening of work before heading to SW Charlotte.

We just keep returning over and over to what we know as "Georges" -- Express Wok. Hes been providing us great food for years, and hes always willing to adjust something to your taste. Youll find a wide range of folks at Georges at all hours. And you can call ahead and have something ready to pick up. Our whole family recommends Express Wok enthusiastically!

The food is amazing but the staff arent friendly at all! I go here almost every week to except different treatment but its the same treatment every time. Even down to when I order my food on the phone, they are very rushy and it doesnt show good service to the customers. It almost makes me not even wanna eat here but the food is just so good!

it gets the job done! It is a Chinese (American) take out/delivery spot that is consistently decent. The service is friendly. Ive never had anything terribly bad from here, but Ive never had anything that makes me think I need to stick with this place. Basically, it fills the vacancy for Americanized Chinese plenty good enough.
