Gravity keeps people on Earth, the US celebrates its independence from England on July 4th, and this is the best ice cream in Charlotte. These are not opinions, but rather facts of life. Another ice cream chain has 32 flavors? Thats cute; try 48 at this place. Need an ice cream cake? Done. Need a gigantic banana split? Your wish is granted. Not enough beer in your ice cream? There is now. This ice cream is sublime. Try the green tea, red bean, or even an old favorite like chocolate fudge ripple. You will not be disappointed. If you are a true ice cream appreciator, get the apple cinnamon: your taste buds will never be the same. Some other reviews have stated the owners arent personable enough. I cant disagree more. The owners remember me every time I visit, which may be months in between. They always have the biggest smiles, and are happy to converse with me the best they can. They are older Korean immigrants, so they may not be able to speak metaphorically about Shakespearean prose, but they can certainly understand you if you ask "How are you today?" You get what you give. Besides, they only serve ice cream here, they dont toss salads.

My family and I love this local creamery. A very nice LOCAL couple own and operate the shop. Ive never seen anyone else scooping ice cream but the owners. They now recognize when I come with my daughter and always make a point to say something nice to her. And the ice cream is better than anything else around. Im honestly not sure if they make it in house but I think they do, just dont hold me to it. Either way the ice cream is significantly better than the "chains" and the owners are very nice people. I have no qualms with going here and spending money on a treat. Also, they make their own waffle cones and they are really good.

Im new to Charlotte and have not seen any ice cream parlors or creameries around the city, aside from fro-yo, so I was really excited to try this place. I got two scoops of cookie dough on a waffle cone. I mean it when I say that the waffle cone was potentially the best one Ive ever tasted AND it was dipped in chocolate. I mean, come on! It was flaky and delicious. My boyfriend got Oreo on a waffle cone and devoured it almost instantly. Needless to say, yes to Elizabeth Creamery.

Had dinner on the other side of town and right next door was Cold Stone Creamery. After dinner we walked right pass CSC and drove over to this sweet little special place! They make the ice cream right there! Talked with owner while I was eating two scoops of the best coconut ice cream! Waffle cone was delish! Perfect way to end the day! I will go there again and again and... You get the picture!

Nothing to really write home about. Maybe we picked the wrong flavor. I thought there would be chunks of cookies in my cookies and cream ice cream. While we were eating our ice cream, the owner dropped the scoop on the floor. He picked up the scoop and placed it right back into the holder with the other scoops. First and last visit.

Ice cream taste was not at all good. We took Vanilla & Black Raspberry flavor.The waffle cone tasted better.You can get better ice cream in grocery stores. We were in Delaware and after having ice cream in Woodside Farm Creamery there , the taste here was bad. Drove 15 miles after seeing 4.5 rating , but waste of time and money.

I dont usually post reviews but this ice cream place deserves it! The owner was extremely kind and friendly. The quality of the ice cream AND the cone was just flawless! Truly one of the best ice cream place I have been to. After eating the ice cream you do not feel bloated and over stuffed . Great place !

Worth the wait in line! Fresh waffle cones with REAL chocolate on the rims! None of that waxy nonsense you get at large chains. I had their Green Tea ice cream (which is my all time favorite kind) and it was flawless. Creamy but not overly sweet with a perfect balance of flavor. Worth every single calorie.

Mr. and Mrs. Kim are amazing, and their ice cream is almost as great! Theyve been running this homemade ice cream shop for at least 20 years, and I swear its only getting better. The shop off Elizabeth Ave is small, so when its busy it is PACKED, but the atmosphere is great and the smell is wonderful!

Oh yum! We usually spend about $9 here on two single scoop waffle cone ice creams. The scoops are really generous; I could not justify eating two scoops without incurring a tummy ache. The ice cream itself is delicious, although I tend to get cookies n cream, while my husband goes for chocolate.

I ate it too fast to take a picture... the ice cream is creamy and flavorful. I really enjoyed the coconut. The green tea tasted great, not bitter at all. The waffle cone was light and crispy. I appreciate that they put the cones in a cup so the ice cream cant melt on me.

I have been a customer for years, at the old location around the corner and now at the new location. I love their delicious ice cream, it is the best I have found in Charlotte. The owners are very kind and it feels great to enjoy locally made ice cream. Yum!!

A short walk from one of the trolley line stops, makes this little mom and pop ice cream shop a must on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The kiddos loved the pink bubblegum flavor, while we enjoyed classic vanilla and a refreshing green tea flavor.

Amazing flavors some of them are not too sweet, which is exactly what I like. And do get the waffle cone. They are heavenly. We spent three days and went there twice. Only because one of those days was a Monday and theyre closed on Mondays.

Excellent homemade ice cream run by a Korean couple. Off on a side street so it isnt so easy to find if you are not looking for it. Great flavors and fresh waffle cones prepared on site. Limited seating in a cozy corner.

My favorite place in Charlotte. I would recommend the chocolate covered waffle cone with Black Cherry Ice Cream. Fairly pricey for Ice Cream but I never care after I start eating it.

The ice cream wasnt flavorful at all and they were extremely stingy when it came to mixing actual condiments into the flavors ie. Chocolate chips in mint chocolate chip.
