Not recommending this place at all. Horrible service, if you are there longer than 30 minutes they give you mean faces and ignore you if you need service. My 16 month old daughter had a few bites of her food and I asked if we can take her left overs home and they wouldnt let us, you have to pay extra, by the pound to take your left overs home. How Ridiculous... poor selection of food. They dont care about you, All they want is $$$ They would rather throw your left overs in the trash than let a little child take it home. We had to leave with a hungry baby because they wanted us out of there and wouldnt let us take her left overs. What has this world come to??? Youre talking about a 16 month old not a grown up, she literally had a few pieces of chicken, tomatoes, potatoes, and a piece of broccoli. Everytime the lady passed by she was saying something in her language and looked very upset. I hope I never have to step in that place again. We had to stop by Zaxbys to get something to eat for our baby, and they were very polite. Im done here.

I must have missed the word "Buffet" when we decided to go here. I was really wanting Hibachi Steak on our vacation, and the place we were originally going to go to was closed at 8pm on Sunday, so we found this on Google maps and headed there. They did have a Hibachi buffet which had exactly what I wanted, steak, zucchini and fried rice. The Hibachi chef was not ashamed to ask for a tip, so make sure you have cash if you partake in that. The food from the Hibachi buffet was good, but I thought some of the chicken I had from the other buffets were dried out, but they had probably been there a while. All in all, it really wasnt a bad experience, I gave it three stars because it just wasnt for me. If you like buffets, Im sure youll love this place.

Bathrooms were shut, couldnt use them, they made my Wife use it with the door wide open. We arrived 40 minutes prior to closing and they had already shut down it seemed. I also over heard the fry chef complaining that we were there. Food was dry, sushi was dry. No one asked how the food was and to check on us for drinks. I ALWAYS get better service at Papas and Beer next door. Geuss, I lost my appetite for Sushi. Rude staff, Dry food. Its the end of the day, turn your food and stir it in the pans and it wont go dry like that.

I walk in and tell the ages of my kids 5 , 8 and 10. And the manager points and says I I dont belive that my child is ten so I say she is and the say "do you need a birth certificate or something" just to be a smart alek. and she said "yes" so i storm out of the resturant. and grab the birth certificate and i show the manager and say "see it says she was born in 2006" and the manager "says yeah I see that but I need picture i ID" for a ten year old!!!! Are you serious so then we ended up eating at ryans steakhouse and buffet

My husband and I came to this DUMP after traveling from Charleston SC and doing some hiking. I didnt think that there would be any good Chinese places in the mountains but hey, after reading the reviews we wanted to give it a shot. I dont know if we came the wrong day or at the wrong time but, this place was just a DUMP. The food was cold and looked like it been sitting on the hot bar for some time and the fresh food they brought out had no authentic flavor. I would NOT advise anyone to come here on vacation or anytime.

called to see their buffet price about a minute ago i was going to go here today for dinner after being rude to me when i could not understand heavy accent but i was still trying t be polite about it person hung up on me i changed my mind i am not going here for dinner today or any other day way to grab customers just hang up n them way to go if they are this rude before i even walk in the door makes me wonder how rude they are in person maybe they spit in customers food for all i know

Weve been a couple of times, and its not terrible, but I always find myself leaving a bit disappointed. Somehow the selection just isnt as great as it looks like it should be when you walk in. Theres a great deal of food up there that isnt even close to Asian in nature, which is very confusing. The desserts are a bit on the dry side, as well, but theres some ice cream to make up for it. The sushi is okay, and the hibachi is pretty solid, but its not my go-to buffet around here.

Dont take this the wrong way, but we have been coming here for more than 21 yrs. Its own by the same people, but the service and the food was just terrible today. Even the employees where giving bad looks and bad mouthing us to each other. We have been waiting for water, and it has taken over 20 minutes. Then Ive emptied my glass twice n now waiting for a refill yet again

Need to refresh food before dinner my daughter is 5 feet and ten years old and they acted like we were lying what for ur shitty food sucks. My kid likes this place I hate it they charge 15 for dinner starts at 4 but have dinner only items out at lunch soooo grosssssss the lady who runs the front blocked the door like we were going not pay like ummmmm why

This is the best restaurant Ive found in the greater Asheville area. Admittedly, the greater Asheville area isnt much in terms of dining, kind of awful if youre down in the foothills where I live, but this place is actually good. Better sushi than the Japanese sushi restaurants Ive gone to in the area. And the Chinese food is quite good, too.

I went to this outstanding restaurant and all I got was delicious food, smiles everywhere, and the service was impeccable. The people there are so nice and so heart warming that it makes you feel like home. I will surely come back to this place when I visit North Carolina in the future.

Will never be eating here again... The food may be good but I found a roach in my sons jello and all they did was say sorry and gave 1 of the 4 of us a free meal. The manager never even came to say sorry it was just one of the servers that even delt with any of the whole thing

Wonderful food and variety! We were on a day trip to Asheville and looking for a reasonably priced place to stop and found Shogun. So glad we did! They have hibachi as well as buffet, and the buffet is huge! Top it off with great ice cream you dip yourself. Solid five stars!

I give this place a 1 because of their attitude. The food is good. It always is, BUT the staff is very unfriendly and when I pointed that out to the ladies at the cashier, they blew me off and walked away. They obviously couldnt have cared less. Because of that, "Im out".
