I called in and the woman who answered the phone completely rushed me and didnt understand what I had ordered. They had the food ready in less than five minutes (the time it took us to drive from cookout to their location 0.6 miles) thats concerning, didnt convince me it was made fresh. When I got there he grabbed the card and charged it quickly as I was checking the bag. They indeed got my order wrong. The language barrier was very strong and they did not seem to understand how they had gotten my order wrong. Since I commute and live 45 mins away, I took a bite off the spring roll in the car and immediately spit it out. It tasted at if someone smoked a cigarette and fondled my spring roll. On top of that, the mushroom soup they gave me (instead of chicken) was disgusting, Im not a picky person but seriously save your money. What a disappointment! Its cheap Chinese food but theres no excuse for terrible service and horrible food.

People have different expectations about Chinese food. Personally, I visit this Chinese takeout restaurant frequently, as I work very close. I love this place. They are fast, and I feel that it is delicious (for "fast food" Chinese). The owners are very polite and always offer a free drink when we have a big order. P.S. To those of you that do not like to be "rushed" while placing an order over the phone, they also have online ordering available. This eliminates any confusion or misunderstanding. There is also a comments box on almost every item that you choose, which makes my pickiness about mushrooms so much easier to deal with when ordering.

Without a doubt the best Chinese take out in Asheville, they seem to have really stepped up the game lately. The chicken is lightly dusted and perfectly fried unlike most places that batter it and it ends up greasy. The veggies are fresh and crunchy. My only complaints are 1. theres no delivery, doesnt matter to me as I live a few blocks away but it would easily double their business. 2. Its the same Chinese food menu that everybody has, i.e. boring. I would really appreciate a section of authentic dishes...maybe something like red braised pork belly or Chinese vegetables (gai lan)....

This place is GREAT! I used to work right behind it, and ate there all the time. The people there are really friendly and wonderful. One time I forgot my food (dont ask...) and the owner actually brought it to my work when they closed! The only reason I didnt give it 5 out of 5 stars is because its a casual place, there are about 10 or so tables, so its not somewhere you would go to for a nice, private dinner... But for a chinese place to get food its awesome! And special orders are no problem whatsoever. :)

Its a stereotypical chinese restaurant, but those are actually a little hard to find in this area, so Im really glad this place exists. Gankos used to be my go-to restaurant, and when they closed down I was pretty sad. Cheap American Chinese food is all I want from time to time, and this place delivered a pretty awesome orange chicken and rice. Also, it is right next to a cute Mexican market, so be sure to stop by there for some Panderia for dessert.

I go here all the time, service is always friendly. It has the atmosphere of a small new York style hole in the wall with amazing smells coming from the kitchen. The food is really good and the price is amazing. I recommend the lunch or dinner specials, and the soups are huge for only a couple bucks. Locally owned and operated so its good to know my money is helping small businesse.

I make it a habit to eat at Chinese restaurants when Im out of town. My wife and I saw the good reviews on Google and thought we couldnt go wrong. This food is horrible. No differentiation in the chicken. My General Tsos is the same as her sesame, minus the sesame seeds. Portions are small, price is high. Ive eaten at a lot of Chinese food places, I will never eat here again!

We love getting take-out from this restaurant, we think it is the best take-out in West Asheville- not to mention great prices! It is usually very quick, about 10 minutes. The restaurant is very clean and the staff friendly. We really enjoy the Beef with Broccoli and Sesame Chicken.

Weve eaten at Dragon China several times- we love to stop in for dinner before we shop for groceries at Aldi. We LOVE this place! They are always friendly, speedy, and the food is tasty. Best in WEst Asheville! MUCH better than all the stinkin buffet Asian places around!

Ive eaten here regularly for 3 years. They are always friendly and the food consistently good for a take-out. These are honest and honorable people who work hard to provide a good variety of tasty food at a reasonable price.

I have eaten at this restaurant at least 6 times or more, they have great food at a great price. They really go the extra mile for your takeout business. In my opinion its the best Asian food on the west side of Asheville.

Very mediocre food. Equivocate to microvable meals. Not awful, but have had way better. Plus the service isnt great. Not a picky person when it comes to food, but this was kind of a let down.

If you have ever been to Hot Wok in Huntington Beach Ca, and you have literally looked all over the usa for a place to replace it, you have just come home!

While the people were very nice, and restaurant was clean, the food itself was sloppy and extremely disappointing! Way too salty, with fatty meat.

I eat lunch here quite often, and bring the whole family once a week. Consistently good. Fresh made. I can never eat at a Chinese buffet again.

Disappointed. The only good part was the rice. Very little seasoning. Shrimp and chicken were soggy.
