Pleasantly surprised! I was never a fan of the place that occupied this space previously, but I am pleased to report that Claddagh appears to have no connection with that place, because it was delicious. The menu strikes you as pretty authentic, at least as far as my knowledge of Irish cuisine goes. They had Guinness Stew, but I was a bit disappointed to not see mention of soda bread anywhere on the menu. We went for lunch, and the prices on the menu strike you as pretty steep, but be aware that the half-portions are perfectly adequate for lunch, so $10 doesnt feel so bad at that point. I got the bangers and mash, and my wife the Shepherds pie, both of which were fantastic, start to finish. Id recommend either, and I do plan on going back at some point. I imagine at night it might have more of a bar feel, but at least for lunch, its a welcome addition to the row.

We got there to kill time for the restaurant 2 stops up. The service was ....ok? We ordered 2 alcoholic drinks and an appetizer. It took almost 39 mins for the flatbread appetizer to come out. I actually had to leave to claim our reservations and he joined me 10 mins later. The mens bathroom was broken. But, there was no sign stating it, nor that the females was going to have to be shared. Not a problem, until your a male using the only bathroom in the establishment annnnd a woman walks in. She also happened to be seated right next to us. The looks and level of uncomfortable and awkwardness was unrealistic. Our server, we saw 3 times the entire time we were there. Did I mention there were only 3 tables sat in the WHOLE RESTAURANT? We wont be back, thats for sure. Not impressed in the slightest.

Had lunch here for the first time today and wish I had done so sooner. Easily the best fish and chips in town. The fish and chips themselves were cooked perfectly, but the real surprise winner for me was the slaw. I generally skip slaw because goopy, mayonnaise dishes dont work for me. This was light and fresh with a lovely flavor. You even have an option of a half portion, which filled me to slightly past full, at a reasonable price for a quality meal. The beer selection was extremely satisfying as well. As a someone who solely drinks dark beer, I was pleased to have some choices in June. The environment was pleasant with loads of comfy seating. I saw many other interesting items on the menu. Ill definitely be back.

Place is cool, had live music, TVs for sports.... However, food was interesting! On the outside, bread buns presentation is on par and makes it look great!! However, you open up the sandwich is has 1 to 2 pieces of turkey and the turkey sandwich is more sandwich than any turkey.... My point is, food is lacking what it advertises! But it looks great, just last substance and service!!! Would not come back!

No wait to sit for lunch. Drinks were good. Appetizers were pretty standard. Corned beef egg rolls were pretty interesting. Onion rings are really good. I got a burger, it was really good! Although the cook forgot to make my burger with the rest of our food. I didnt mind, it came out very quickly! The waitress was very friendly!!!

Horrible service. I asked the blonde bartender for a menu and she agreed me which one and I said whichever you want give me and then tells me the kitchens closed and then when I asked her why then would she ask me which menu she got an attitude with me and mumbled something under her breath. Very unprofessional.

Awesome pub in downtown Aville. Food was amazing(Bangers and mash), the beer selection was better than some of the brew pubs in town, great in other words, and the service was fast and friendly. Also the atmosphere and Celtic music really set the mood. Definately a must if you love Celtic food and beer.

Wow. Night before st. Patricks day. Food was great. Fried green tomatoes w/pimento cheese for app was great. Shepard pie for me, corned beef cabbage and potatoes for my husband. Then bread pudding for desert. The trivia game was fun and staff was great. Big draft selection. Wish we lived there.
