The only reason we go there is because it is close to work, but that was put to an end yesterday. We were seated at a reserved table for a quick drink and asked to leave 30 minutes earlier than promised. When we asked for 10 more minutes, the owner got extremely rude, violent and swore at us. The visit was also accompanied with dirty bar glasses, lipstick all over my glass and particles in my whisky As objective as I can be: Decor: Place is extremely old, dark and has a bad odor. Service: typically the younger people working there are friendly, attentive and provide good service Food: the menu is pages and pages long and that is typically a bad sign. I wouldnt ever go there for the food. Prices: Typical for Westchester, big quantities of poor quality, not very fresh food

Very warm and friendly atmosphere. Great hospitality. The food is totally satisfying. Great for a family with children to feel right at home. Service is is consistant. Staff are all kind, polite and always attentive to each table. Definitely recommend Valhalla Crossing to everyone. We travel 1hr to dine and look at all the amazing pieces and historical literature there is available while you sit and wait. Also, we really enjoy the history and atmosphere of this great place plus because not only do the children love the blowing of the train horns as they approach and pass by the diner but we (the adults / the parents) find it fascinating as well. See you again sometime soon.

Not only was the food tasteless the service was horrible. My daughter and I were seated within 2 minutes however once we got our food there was no one to be found. My fountain soda tasted horrible and I asked the waiter that was passing by (not our waitress) to take it away. Not once did our waitress come back to offer another drink nor did she bring us our check. When I had had enough of the food and service 45 minutes few bites of food for both myself and daughter we decided to get up and pay our very over priced bill for a sandwich and appetizer. Ive been sick to my stomach since, food poison? Who knows but if I were you I would avoid this establishment.

Valhalla Crossing is conveniently located next to a top CPG so it makes coming for lunch and/or happy hours relatively easy. Ive had a variety of sandwiches/salads amidst their bar-type fare and theyre good..not great, but still satisfying. The portion size is really nice, but I still find it to be too overpriced for my liking. The environment and interior is clean and seems comforting, but the temperature is way too cold inside during the winter, at least in the booths where you can glance at the passing metro north trains, so be prepared to eat without removing your jacket.

What a cute spot! I am only in Valhalla to visit Kensico Cemetery, but for a place with guaranteed clientele right next to the Metro North station (I mean...it kind of is IN the station really) they act like they have to earn and retain all of their customers. There is a bar and restaurant area and a caboose for larger groups. The food comes in larrrrge portions and I havent had anything disappointing yet. Get an appetizer side of the mac and cheese.

Great food, delicious Louisiana burger with the "little bit of both" fry/onion ring option which is a welcome different touch. Fresh beef that you can taste at a fair price; also the owners are hard working and passionate about their business. Do yourself a favor...get here and tell your friends!

Food was delicious, service was very good, and the deserts were amazing. Especially the adult Milkshakes! They have a wide variety of food so there is something for everyone, including gluten free items. Would Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place to eat.

Good menu but not as good as it used to be. Smaller salads and outrageous prices for some of the apps. $10 for a small crock of mac and cheese thats nowhere near as good as the big portions used to be. Sorry, I wont be rushing back to order that again very soon and neither should you.

Been going here a long time, and it keeps getting better. Great comfort food for an honest price. Beer selection is getting even better recently. Would like to see them bring back more live music acts. The "Octoberfest" specials are great, should keep a couple on the menu year round!

A nice local place with plenty of options. Servings are huge. I have had a dish here once or twice that was a little too salty but overall food is really good, and you get a lot for the price! Service is also consistently good and you never have to wait too long for a table.

This is one of my favorite places to stop and have a bite to eat and a beer when Im in the area. The food is always great, the bartenders are phenomenal. Have spoken with the chef a time or two and the staff overall is just amazing. High recommend a stop to check it out.

Its kind of cool when the train rumbles by. If you dont find that endearing, this is not the place for you. The train is an arms length away! The restaurant is a nice comfortable place with friendly and not fancy service. Good food all around and very decent prices.

Good place for lunch and dinner, a unique location right on the train tracks in a train themed setting. Food is good, though menu is limited. Wait staff is friendly and attentive. All in all a nice spot to enjoy diner style fair by the tracks

Cozy spot right near the train station. Service is very good and the food is tasty and affordable priced. The fries are crispy and the buffalo chicken wrap was fresh. They also have a full bar area in addition to restaurant seating.

The Food was delicious, staff attentive and friendly and best of all great setting and vibe. A little pricey when you first see the menu but wow Large portioms verify the value. Very wide array of desserts and wine. Worth the visit!

I little pricy but I loved it here! I love trains and I sat in an area that was right next to the train tracks so this gave me a PERFECT opportunity to watch the trains. This was an awesome restaurant!

Fun pub in a spacious, historied train station. Great burgers, rotating beers on tap - had a local stout which was terrific. Casual, decent service. Good place!
