Nice place to look at but the food was not good, my wife ordered fried shrimp over cooked I ordered chicken carbonara recommended by our waitress when it came I ask the waitress for grated cheese it had no taste the chicken was tender, the manger was walking around asked if everything was ok I said no my wife shrimp over cooked he replied next time tell the waitress not to have them cook so much, we always cook them more to make sure not to under cook them, so you over cook them? He asked how my food was I replied my food had no taste he offed to exchange for something else I said no I did want wait for something different , I recived my bill was charged full price, as I was leaving I seen the manage his name Ned I was told that he had taken 20% off my bill ?? 2 orders @ 18.95 = 37.90 + 3.36 tax total 41.26 no 20% was taken off , also if I did not eat my dinner I think 18.95 would taken off. Thanks Ned You never have to deal with me.

Never, EVER in my life have I encountered such disgraceful and horrible management at any business facitility. A friend of mine and I went here and used GROUPON and the manager refused to accept it and started yelling at us (literally threatening to call the police) because we were insisting that he had to accept the Groupon BY LAW. It was a bitter screaming match going back and fourth and this guy was so disgraceful and ridiculous and finally when he realized he was wrong, he put the blame on the employee and said he was going to make the waiter pay. I felt bad for the kid and if he sees this he should find a different job because he deserves a lot better. Horrible, unprofessional and never will I ever come back to this mad house they call a diner.

My family & I go about once a month & we love it here. The decor & ambiance makes this place feel more upscale than a diner, but its definitely NOT a loud hipster. Whether we go for breakfast or dinner, the food is always delicious & at a fair price. Always check out the specials. The seafood with lobster & linguine fra diavola tastes as good as homemade, your wont be disappointed! The portion size is more than enough for 2, without any appetizers! The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The managers always stop by the tables to check on food & service. Hope this review helps.

Um. Its a diner and its a lounge. Upon entering you see a large statue of Marilyn Munroe getting subway gas blown up her dress. The interior is best described as if there was a cheesecake factory at the Vatican. I think you need a deep tan and large sunglasses to work and or eat here. Our server was nice and had some large pink fingernails. The food was diner food. Poached eggs were Rock solid. They must have a friend in the ceramic tile biz because there was at least 100 different style tiles in the building. Why does everyone around here drive white cars?

The Remnants are a Staten Island Band that played at Z-2 on Feb 3rd,.. The owner promised to pay them their money and payed them not even half of what they agreed on .. Forwarning for any bands planning to work there .. The Remnants had a packed room brought a following and played all night ... At the end of the night the owner only gave them $200.00 for a six piece band .. The band agreed on $550.00 .. That was a terrible thing to do to a band that is very good at what they do .. And the food was horrible and the waiter never came to the table ..

The decor is nice, the ambiance is soothing and comfortable. The service is friendly enough. The red sangria was disgusting. The loaded nachos were decent but over priced.My husband order of a plain burger did not go through and we ended up waiting over 30 minutes for a turkey wrap and a plain burger. They did apologize a gave us a small piece of dessert. Sorry but we will not dine here again. We will go to Chee burger Chee burger.

This place and their sister restutant use to be the best around. Not anymore. Last two times out were bitter disappointments. Tonight the two salads we ordered were old wilted lettuce, very scant portion and lacking in any flavor. To top it off once it was left on the table, there wasnt a soul complain to because our waiter joined the witness protection program. Never again.

BEWARE: THEY OVERCHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD! I placed an online order and they overcharged me $15. I even showed the owner the email from whereyoueat and the charge on my card and he said "I dont know what to tell you". Thankfully Visa saw the fraud and refunded my money. Its bad enough that they already overcharge for sub par food but to rip people off is getting desperate.

Ive been to Z-One 3 times and never had a bad experience. I went to Z-Two only once and I will NEVER go back there! I was surprised (though I should not have been because I know how people on that side of the Island are) at how rudely we were treated by a bouncer or security guard, and a guy who (I think) is the owner. They are very racist at Z-Two!!!!

The best place in Staten Island to eat and the best night life!If you havent experienced visiting Z2 you do not know what your missing!Beautiful place and very friendly atmosphere!!Plain and Simple Z2 has the best food in Staten Island!!You ask for Steve or Ned tell them Mikey Flowers recommended this place!I promise you they will do the right thing!!

I came here to meet my sister for an early dinner. The environment and atmosphere was very inviting the wait staff excellent and friendly and the food was awesome. I had a spinach salad with skirt steak and since I am a bodybuilder Im really picky about my food and how its prepared and they did it absolutely perfect & delicious. Thank you so much!

They call me Mr Restaurant because I always go out to eat, but I keep coming back to Z One and Z Two because theyre outstanding in all areas and I highly recommend these spots to all of my business associates and friends. They are always friendly to me and give that extra effort and thats why I keep coming back.. See you there....Art

This was my first time and my last ,and I speak for my husband and two children who were with me ,we all left there so disappointed,the service was friendly and place looked beautiful,but the food was disgusting,sick to our stomachs ,everything frozen ,tasteless ,,they seriously need a good cook and learn to buy fresh food

The best modern diner in the world... i drove from ny to la..traveled the world.. you will not find a more modern diner.. Fast service.. greeted by multipal people as you walk in. Professional.. ran by the owners and Everything is overseen. The way IT SHOULD BE... great food good outdoor seating.. MUST GO

When we sat down, they brought over a platter of fresh cut up fruit and little muffins. I thought that was a nice gesture. We both ordered eggs. They came out quickly and nicely cooked. After eating we sat and talked for awhile. We did not feel pressure to leave. All and all a very nice morning.
