Very disappointed with their customer service from this past Sunday. This is my 3rd visit to East, and I enjoyed my other 2 times, but this past time really set me off. First the positives: the restaurant has a cozy setting and the food quality is usually good. But on Sunday I went with my parents and aunt, and it wasnt even overflowing- but we had to wait 30-40+ minutes for our food after it was initially ordered. When I asked my waiter he gave me an attitude and said, "Do you not see how busy it is?" The food came and my familys food was good (dad&aunt ordered garlic flounder, my mom the beef & broccoli) - be aware that its pretty much around $15 per dinner dish no matter if its a simple dish. My pad thai came out a little disappointing - drier and stickier than it usually should be - but still edible. The main problem was that I had to leave a bit early, but I had a valid coupon that I left with my family whose native language is not English. When they tried to give the coupon without me there, the waiter said, "Coupon is no good, restaurant is too busy, no good on Sunday" (When the coupon clearly says "valid Sunday-Thurs excluding holidays", and it was not a holiday...). Im really angry they took advantage of my family like that, and for a restaurant that charges that much Im disappointed they did not take the coupon. Edit: I went again with my family recently, and their customer service was superior to the last visit. The food was also enjoyable (Sesame Chicken). I think I need to reconsider my opinion of the restaurant.

This restaurant has such amazing food, its a shame their service is so bad. They come by and take your order and you are lucky if you see them again before the check comes. They also will NOT do ANY substitutions for allergies or taste preference. Im talking substituting broccoli for asparagus, or putting the sauce on the side...nothing complicated. I would like to say I wont order from here again, but due to the lack of good Thai food on Staten Island, I always get sucked back in...

although the menu has not been changed since i started eating there in 2003, I still go there twice a month. my kids favorite restaurant. they satisfy every palate. good presentation and taste.. price is moderate. Im sure this restaurant would rated better if it was somewhere outside the mall. you will never get disappointed with the food.

Quite possibly the most expensive Thai/Asian/Japanese restaurant Ive ever eaten at. 2 orders of Pad Thai, 1 Rainbow Chicken, and 2 sushi rolls (spicy salmon and spicy crab) came out to $60.00. Are they insane??? The food wasnt even that great to where I could at least feel that the 60 bucks was well worth it.

Had a good experience at this restaurant. Although we didnt have a reservation on for a Mothers Day brunch, we were seated at good table. The food and customer service was excellent. The Resturant was clean and quiet. We had a good time and will highly recommend it to anyone around the area.

Usually my family drives to Brooklyn to get our fixes of chinese restaurant dining with relatives, friends or just ourselves. Were so glad to have found this restaurant in Staten Island. It is now a hot spot for our small asian community.

Good food with interesting selections. The service is terrible however. Try the honey walnut chicken and shrimp. Awesome value

Cantonese Chinese food is better than many Cantonese restaurants, and wide variety of decent Asian fusion.
