This is the best place for a quick bite in Somers, hands down. I am from the city, and I was uber-disappointed with the selections up here (I used to live next to Agata and Valentina, so I was never hard-pressed for excellent ready-to go vittles). Then I found Taste, and I have had their soups (awesome) their salads (well-proportioned with great dressings) and their hot food (omg: once a stuffed pork with crunchy onions; can you say yum?). Today, I was moved to write this, because, after picking up my regular salad and getting home to find it, for the first time, under-par, I called them up because I need to keep the only good place up here good....I told the owner about my disappointment, and she not only apologized immediately, she (get this), had her guy DELIVER ME A NEW ONE....this place does not normally deliver, get it? WIthin 15 min I had the excellent salad I had grown to love on my table. Trust me; if you are in Somers, dont waste your time anywhere else.

I come here for my regular lunch whenever I can. I work at a major company in the area and the cafeteria is awful. For about the same money I go to Taste for a huge selection of delicious foods...Ive had a number of hot dishes (esp chicken chili), salads (esp both types of kale) and premade items (quesadilla with corn salsa). Ive actually never had a regular deli sandwich because there are so many other options. There is very little fresh quality food in Somers so Taste is an oasis in the wasteland...highly recommend! And the staff is great too!

Taste Deli catered my Moms 90th birthday party which was also a family reunion. The food was beautifully prepared and was very delicious. It surpassed all expectations. The family raved about all of the dishes. Susan and all of the staff who prepared and delivered were great. We really appreciate the attention to detail for this momentous family occasion. It made the day for sure. Thank you!

I stopped at Taste this morning for the first time. I am so glad that I did. I had a blueberry muffin. Not just any blueberry muffin but the most moist muffin Ive ever had and full of blueberries. Usually muffins crumble when you bite into them. Not the muffin from Taste. I highly recommend you stop in and enjoy,

My wife and I have tried breakfast, lunch, and chose items for dinner - one of those no time to cook nights. Each time the food was fresh and very good. Over the course of our visits weve been served by different staff members and theyve all been friendly and professional. Needless to say, 5 stars for Taste.

If you use Sue Dinardo the catering manager make sure you get your pricing in writing. She tells you a price and when you go to order it she doesnt give you that price. Plus she told people she gives the SCSD a 10% discount but didnt give it to us on our order. Terrible business person and very rude!!

They make good sandwiches and have a lot of interesting hot food options. They are a little more expensive than some of the other local delis, but no overpriced. Theres nothing that has really stuck out as impressive to me so far. But if you know what you want, theyll make it for you.
