The food is very good. We went there yesterday to celebrate our anniversary, and are pretty happy with the place. The food is very good, the staff is friendly. Theyve also got a bar that you can order from. I got an LI Iced Tea, and while it didnt much taste like an LI Iced Tea, it seemed to have plenty of alcohol in it and tasted good enough. The restaurant is pretty large, and when we were there (about 5PM on a Saturday,) it was almost empty, so all the food was delivered quickly and it was nice and quiet, with enjoyable music playing in the background. The only two cons are that the food is a bit more expensive than expected, and the interior is rather dated, with an old carpet that either hasnt been vacuumed in a while, or just looks and smells like because its just too old. Theyve got photos of the inside of the restaurant on the website, and the photos look better than it actually is. It shouldnt prevent people from going there, but if the restaurant owners read this, it would be a good idea to implement some renovations.

This was our first time eating here and we totally loved everything we ordered! We had the fried cauliflower appetizer(GHOBI CHILLI) and the fried mixed vegetable appetizer(MIXED VEGETABLE PAKORA). For our main dishes we ordered from the Tandoori Sizzlers section and had CHICKEN TIKKA and from the seafood section we had SHRIMP TIKKA MASALA. Both were the best weve ever had! We have eaten in many Indian restaurants but this is the best! Even the coffee was good! We didnt have room for dessert. The garlic naan was perfect for dipping! This is our new favorite place and well be back often!

I am so glad to see that this restaurant is catching on. They need to advertise more to get the word out on the street. The food is outstanding. I had the wings for starters, chicken tikka masala, chana masala, and garlic naan. Everything was delicious. This place beats The Curry Club hands down, do not hesitate to try it, trust me, you WILL NOT be disappointed. YUMMY!!!!!

The food at Raga was very good but the service needs improving. I was with a party of 3 in which 2 of us had never eaten Indian food before. When we asked for assistance with menu items I felt as though the waiter and waitress couldnt be bothered and were annoyed when we asked the questions. I will consider returning there but the service truly needs improvement.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food, service, and ambiance are all highly pleasing. It is astounding to me that it does not get crowded. The Ghobi Chilli and Chicken Lukhnawi are out of this world. Small selection of tap beers, but they always seem to have Blue Points Toasted Lager and who could argue with that? I would highly recommend coming here.

Waste of Money!!! Worst food ever had!!! I ordered chicken chilly, its was horrible, marinated in chick pi flour and buffet food was more worst then ordered food. It was not warm/hot, and super tasteless, was regretting why i came to this restaurant driving 30 mins from my place. If you really want to waste your money so do go and visit once.

The food was fantastic! The saag paneer is incredibly velvety. The chicken tikka masala was more tomato based than cream based, which I found refreshing because I feel like most tikkas tend to lose the tomato flavor with too much cream. Friendly wait staff and a well priced meal for the taste and quality. Our favorite Indian spot around!✨

My favorite restaurant on Long Island, period. Its location slightly off Main Street, and the fact that there is an older (and much less good) Indian restaurant adjacent to the university, deprive this establishment of the crowds it deserves. Food, ambiance, and especially staff all rate 5 stars.

I have been going here for several years. The ambiance is good, but the food is what keeps me coming back. Im a vegetarian and they have a very tasty vegetarian section. The place never seems overly busy, which is a shame. Hands down best Indian restaurant on Long Island.

I have enjoyed everything Ive ordered here, except one thing: goat curry. The atmosphere is very conducive to comfortable dining. Quiet. Very friendly wait staff and management. My only problem is that we dont eat here often enough. Life is too short.

I went there a few times, the food was ok, but stopped going after one incidence. A rude waiter gave me someone elses leftover, and claimed that it was mine-gross! He never apologized, nor the manager! They lost me as a costumer forever!

Food options are less. There are only few choices in each category. Please have a look at the bill before you leave. They add the Tip themselves. I by mistake added a tip on top of that. I thought, that should have been mentioned to me.

Horribly slow service, took almost 30 minutes after we were done eating to get the check (the place was empty). Food was okay. Garlic Naan was a big disappointment, they used prechopped garlic that had no flavor. Not worth the $

Had the Buffet today with 6 other family members. Good buffet that changes regularly. Been going here for many years. Worth the 45 minute drive. Owner and staff are receptive to you concerns and comments. Good wait staff.

Very good, and more reasonably priced than some others. Good service, and they deliver! Most dishes are not spicy, which I find disappointing, but most others probably prefer. The flavor makes up for this, though.

Very nice Buffet for lunch. Almost everything is gluten free so my husband and I can eat freely. Staff is good about refilling water and removing used dishes very promptly.

Not really very good food and the service was slow, with four people in the entire restaurant and two servers. Will not go back.

Raga must be the best kept secret for incredible Indian food. Always surprised how empty it is.

Nice ambiance. The food was good but a bit bland, maybe because we asked it to be mildly spicy.

Food was very bland which is very odd for Indian cuisine. Prices were high.
