The service was horrible and insulting!!! We went for a tasting for my daughters christening and everything seemed OK. The samples were very good but the side of snobbery was a little for me to digest. I decided to overlook this and figured I would give them a chance. I called to settle the details of my cake 2 weeks before my event and thats when it all went down hill. Every time I called I was shifted to a different employee and had to repeat my event details, who I was, why I was calling. It seemed extremely unorganized which made me very nervous and frustrated. When my call was finally given to a man that worked there he was very snide and insulting as I asked questions about my cake order. I was then advised that everything I was told at my tasting was no longer possible and the prices I was quoted where now higher. As, I addressed my concerns the man proceeded to insult me by saying that the designer probably did not tell me because I would not be able to notice the difference in flowers put on my cake and then insinuated that I was "anal retentive". But it gets better, I asked again how much the difference in price would be for the "NEW" flowers that I supposedly wouldnt know the difference were and the man said " well you cant be fussy if your on a budget." BUDGET!!!??? Who the hell said I was on a budget? I was ordering a $600 cake. After this phone call I still went against my gut and called back to try and wrap things up for my event, though I guess if the bakery is too busy it goes straight to voice mail so I left not 1 but 2 voice mails and no one called me back until a week later now 4 days before my event. Thank goodness, I did not wait for them and decided to go with another bakery before it was too late. Funny, after all this mess with Lulus the other baker did everything Lulus told me could not be done. From matching the butter cream color to the amount of tiers the cake would have. The ultimate message here is Lulu Cake Boutique is not the only bakery that can bake a beautiful and tasty cake. I suggest you take your business else where. To a place that they appreciate you as a customer and treat you well no matter if you are ordering an expensive wedding cake or a single cupcake.

Best bakery in Westchester! Ive tried several different bakeries but nothing beats Lulus. They are famous for their "retro desserts" which consist of twinkies, yodels, snowballs, and whoopie pies. I love them all but my personal favorites are the twinkies and snowballs. Ironically, I hated twinkies and snowballs growing up, but Lulus makes them like no other. The twinkies come in a variety of flavors that include the classic vanilla, all chocolate, red velvet, lemon, passionfruit, banana hazelnut and many more. While the snowballs come in a chocolate and vanilla cake variety. Oh, and I forgot to mention that all of their ingredients are organic and high quality. But besides the retro desserts, they also have jumbo cupcakes and cookies, a variety of brownies and bars, and of course cakes! The cakes not only look amazing, but they taste amazing too! Ive gotten several cakes from Lulus for different occasions, and they have not disappointed. They are now a staple at every family occasion because everybody loves them. They have a whole ton of flavors that range from traditional flavors like classic vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream to unique flavors like sicilian pistachio. They also have a whole range of designs for cakes. They make beautiful simple birthday cakes, but they also make extraordinary custom cakes. They even specialize in wedding cakes! Lulus does it all and their stuff really is the best, which doesnt surprise me considering the amount of awards that they continually win! Their stuff is amazing definitely worth trying!

I couldnt more highly recommend a "cake boutique" than this one. The total experience from start to finish was out of this world. Once we set up a tasting, we were treated to the most delicious (and ample, unlike other bakeries we tested) tastings of true confectionary delight. It was honestly very hard to choose, and when we asked, we were treated to more flavors. Working with the owner and his team, we sketched (literally, on paper) out what we wanted the final design to be. Although it was detailed, I was not prepared for the masterpiece that I saw when I walked into the venue. We had decided on a 4 tier cake with 4 different flavors and it was *stupendous*. It was truly an eye catcher, and our guests were raving about it. Highly Recommended. *Update* Its taken me a moment to re-review and post my update. Not only did we get a fantastic cake for our anniversary (which was included) and so incredibly tasty. We went to Lulu for our second anniversary. Out. Of. This. World. Thank you Lulu, and your team, for making us fat and happy. :]

I absolutely love this place! About a month and a half ago, my family and I went in to order my brothers Bar Mitzvah cake. Although our desires for the cakes design were intricate and detailed, Lulus could not have done a better job putting the cake together. It looked exactly as we had anticipated; the blue hombre air brushing on the letters of the cake, and the cool figures on the top were hand-crafted perfectly. The cake consultant told us of the most popular flavors, so we decided to go with the Dulce De Leche and the Brooklyn Blackout. The dulce de leche buttercream literally melted in my mouth, and the cake was moist and amazing, complimented by the toasted almonds that added a necessary crunch. The chocolate pudding in the Brooklyn Blackout was rich and tasty, and the chocolate cake was soft and perfect. Although this event was stressful, Lulus made the cake process easy as can be. The cake arrived promptly on time, and remained flawless looking all night- until devoured.

Everyone raves about Lulus Cake Boutique. I tasted cake from there at a birthday party several years ago and wasnt impressed. But I tried it again. We purchased a beautifully designed cake for my goddaughters party. Design and execution I give them 5 stars, but taste 3 stars. We went for the tasting and selected Cookie Monster and Straciatella. The tasting was delicious! The cakes were great. But when we received the actual cake on the day of our event I was disappointed. First, they didnt give us Straciatella...we got white cake with thick very buttery buttercream filling. For the cookie monster the chocolate cake was dry and the filling tasted like a butter stick with oreos in it. I was so disappointed. If youre going to give me a beautifully designed cake please make sure it tastes as good as it looks!

After being a regular custom at Lulus for several years and always having a pleasant experience (and truly enjoying their fantastic array of beautiful and delicious treats) I finally decided to take the next step and order a custom cake for my husbands birthday. I had a consultation with one of their designers and was excited to see how our ideas came together to form the perfect cake for my husbands birthday! It was a show stopper and, of course, absolutely delicious! I have always recommended Lulus to friends and family but I had such a great experience designing my custom cake (and seeing the look on mu husbands face when we surprised him with it) that I wanted to get the word out for any one who is considering doing the same.
