As you can probably guess from the title, I am allergic to fish, and the waitresses were bitches. Me, my roommate, and two friends decided to have dinner together. So we went out to the Thai Cuisine restaurant. This is not my first time eating there. The food was quick, as usual, and I have always found it to be awesome, good presentation etc. However, they did not indicate under the Pangang Curry that it is made with a fish paste base. I am allergic to fish. I bit into it, immediate fish taste. So, I asked the waitress to check with the kitchen. Sure enough, there was (note she tried to reassure me that there was no fish in it). My friend ran out to get me Benadryl (note, I am not anaphylactic, but I will swell up with in about 20 minutes if untreated). Meanwhile I ordered Drunk Noodle (so good) it came out before she got back. The waitress at first was apologizing, really fun. Friend returns, pills are in, and Im happy. That is until the dessert comes out. Topping the fried ice cream, is a cherry. My friend, who got me Benadryl, is allergic to cherries, cherry flavoring etc. (Also my friends ordered their desserts all in the beginning to make the waitresses job that much easier). Before it comes out the waitress comes up to give us the second lecture on how we should state at the beginning of the meal if we are allergic to anything to say something. I have never had to pre-state at a restaurant that I am allergic to fish, that is because they usually say it in the description ("topped with a cherry", or "made with the most delicious fish base, seasoned to perfection with red chili peppers"). She gave across such an attitude, rolled her eyes, put her hands up in exasperation. Her friend comes over to hand us the check, rolls her eyes as she walks away, and storms off with out a "Thank you, please come again." I made sure to shout "Thank you" as she walked away. Then went to talk to the manager/boss/person in charge. Turns out, she is apparently the only English speaker with most seniority there. So I had no problem telling her that I saw her eyes roll, her and her friend snicker around the corner as they were done, the attitude she gave off, the tossing of the check etc. She was clearly fake with her apology, so, I made sure to tell the man who cooked, not entirely fluent in English, what happened. I made sure to stress the food was not the problem, it was the waitress and bus girls. We didnt tip, and are never going again.

Was recommended to come here by a family member. The food was decent, but not plentiful enough for the price paid. This isnt what bothered me however, what bothered me was the waitresses. The waitress who greeted us gave me a dirty look (the person I was with noticed it as well) and threw our menus on the table. The other waitress who helped us was nice, but the experience was already sullied. Additionally, we went at the later hours, and the location for dining in is quite bad if you are pointed toward the window as the gas station across the street has cars at the pumps, which shine their headlights straight at the window (and into my eyes) for at least a couple seconds. I decided never to go here again.

Great food! Unique, well prepared dishes that appear authentic. While eating there, I had the opportunity to meet the owner through a common friend. Very nice woman willing to explain the various dishes and their characteristics. The dishes revolve largely around noodles and meat, with fish sauce, pineapple, mango, and other tasty ingredients finding their way into the dishes often. Prices were quite reasonable with several downright cheap options. Dont let the appearance of the building fool you, Thai Cuisine has excellent food an great service

Terrible service. Both the owner and a waiteress are very rude. Seems impatient and irrespective when I made my order. I left my bottle there and they already discarded it into the trash can when I came back in a hour. They told me they would never keep any clients stuff after they left. Take care of your purse or cellphone when eating there. It will be gone if leaving there. Will never go there again.

I am new in town and this is one of only two good restaurants in Potsdam. I can only recommend dishes off of the soup menu and fresh spring rolls as that is all I have ordered. They are all very good but expect a traditional size serving versus a massive bucket of soup. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The staff is attentive and polite.

Terrible. Ordered the larb, Smelled disgusting, tasted worse. Supposedly beef, definitely not chicken, duck, turkey, pork, or fish, it resembled the last can of alpo I fed to my dog. I had my 6 roommates taste test this and we all agreed that it was probably rotten, expired, and werent quite sure what kind of meat it was.

The service and prices are very good here. The food is not expensive and they have a large menu. Unfortunately much of the food is bland and needs seasoning. I spent several years living near Ithaca NY where there are several Thai restaurants that compete with one another and this just isnt as good.

Great food. If youre put off by the building, just give them a call and order it for take-out. Its quick, the prices are decent enough, and its darn good. Ive never been to Thailand but Ive been to some great Thai places in other areas of the US. This one definitely hits the mark.

Food is almost always fantastic, the staff is very friendly and attentive without being smothering, and the prices are reasonable. If you like your food hot and spicy, or you cant take the heat, they are more than happy to adjust the spice levels to suit.

The dumplings are really good. Nice decorations and calm, quiet atmosphere. I also really felt that prices were reasonable. My favorite part is that the food is consistently good. Hands down my favorite, go-to place to eat out in the area.

I did not particularly like the taste of the food, too americanized, or something. I got pretty sick a few hours after eating here... So, I dont know if it was the food I ate, or just a coincidence, but yea... Not a good experience for me.

Always amazing and a favorite of my husbands and mine. Highly recommend the Thai iced tea or coffee, fresh spring rolls, crab rangoon (best Ive had), mango curry, volcano chicken, and the coconut dessert puddings. 10/10

I eat A LOT of thai food. This place was pretty darn good. Considering how there is NO other good food in Potsdam, this place was excellent. Ive been in Potsdam for four days and this was the only food worth eating.

Ok food. Great service. Clean restaurant. Friendly atmosphere. I think the food need a more flavor, spice + heat . I ordered a spicy or starred item, and the food was bland. Needed more flavor, less sugar.

I cant remember the name of the meal I ordered but it was delicious. It wasnt greasy and smelled good. Service was friendly and prices are very reasonable. Ill definitely go there again.
