Handsome Devil is the best BBQ you will find north of the Mason-Dixon Line. This is world class, finger lickin good BBQ in an airy, laid back, and very cool upstairs restaurant. You wont believe how flavorful and perfectly cooked the meats are! The portions are huge, including delicious, well seasoned side dishes. I had the ribs and chicken combo: the ribs were succulent, melt in your mouth delicious, and the chicken was easily the best BBQ chicken Ive ever had! The brisket is moist and flavorful: I got the burnt ends, which have a fabulous crunch where the ends are "burnt" (not really burnt: the flavor is far from it). A huge starter order of onion rings was freshly made and seasoned better than most; same with the humongous side of some of the best fries youll ever taste! You get two sides with the BBQ entrees, and I chose those fries and the coleslaw, which was as good as it gets. In sum: Handsome Devil BBQ brings the taste of the best southern BBQ up north to the mid-Hudson Valley. Enjoy!

The food was just awful - brisket was dry, with barely any bbq sauce on it. Potato chips had no salt and not flavor, they tasted like cardboard. We had children with us who order off of the kids menu and one of the side was mandarin oranges. When the dinners came, the fruit was those little fruit cups you get from Aldis - no fresh fruit here! Our waiter was nice enough, but he had no idea what a hard roll was when I asked if I could get my sandwich on a roll. Such a huge letdown after all of the positive reviews I have read in the past. Wont be spending my hard earned money there again.

Just got back from the Hudson Valley Rib Fest, we ordered ribs and a brisket sandwich, both were sad to say horrible. The ribs were "pale" no flavor, the sandwich which consisted of a stale bun, and two and half pieces of dry meat. The girl who served it was more concerned with her hair than actually attending to the public. Truly a big disappointment for all of us.

Went to this hole in the wall for a birthday party.....had very low expectations.....I was blown out of the water; their food was fabulous, their bar was rocking and I had an overall great time. I am no more a doubting Thomas. Thank You, Lori - Apex, NC
