My family of 6 stopped here to grab a bite to eat while making a trip to the World Trade Center. My siblings however did not want the food offered here and decided to grab sushi from the place next door. My dad however enjoyed what they had to offer and went forward with his order. We went and sat in the dining area. My siblings walked in with their food looking to join us so we could eat as a family just to be hit in the face with a verbally abusive manager who told them to leave and not to bring any food from outside. Understandable but there is a polite way to speak to kids. He was extremely obnoxious, arrogant and rude in the way he spoke and did not care who heard him. He was a disgusting human being and I will not ever stop here again nor would I recommend this place to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere for better food and better service. Its a wonder how places like this stay open as long as they do. Thats what makes these ugly human beings so arrogant because they know no matter what they say or do to their customers their doors will always stay open.

The food is expensive but its ok, not awful, not great. The service for the pasta bar is super friendly but the girl who works the back register during lunch time is the worse. She made me wait for a knife so she can laugh and gossip with the guys on the grill right in front of me and someone else had to tell her to take my order because she didnt want to. No cashiers were at the front registers and the staff just watched me standing there ready to pay, i hadto look for my own cashier! Will never go back to this place....sucks bc their rice and beans were pretty decent

In visita a Lower Manhattan ci siamo fermati per un pranzo veloce. Ottima pasta cotta al punto giusto atmosfera informale da self service. Va bene anche per un dolce e una bevanda calda.

Great lunch spot. Salad with 5 toppings and a soup for $8.50 cant be beat in that area. And the guys who make it are full of personality as well. But beware, where they get you is on a bottle of soda. $2.99 is completely outrageous. Thats borderline movie theatre pricing. Food is fresh and always made to order.

Service was good, the guy who served me was nice. BUT the food could be better, I had some veggie with potatoes and some "tabasco" chicken, and brown rice, it was awful. Way too salty, I had to go lie down I got a headache from the sodium intake. And for the price it was just not worth it. I threw the rest away.

Very unhappy here. We ask for regular black coffee n they gave us regular coffee but charge for cappuccino price. When questioned they said, ya cappuccino! The breakfast plate, were told its $8-9 but came up to $12.95! Pissed off.

What came across as the owner has a nasty attitude, ripped me off. Ordered extra meat and charged me for another plate. Staff said extra meat is $3/$4 additional. Food was dry and tasted as if had been reheated a few times.

It is a glorified deli. Help yourself to the buffet foods or go to the counters along the wall of the deli and ask for yummy sandwiches. The soups are homemade. Not expensive. There is plenty of sitting area. Self service.

Food is terrible and expensive. The bread on my Philly was old and the steak felt like had been in refrigeration for months. What is even worst is the staffs attitude; very rude impolite people. Stay away from this place.

Unbelievable that they charge $10 for the same ham & cheese on a roll that you can get at any Bodega in the 5 boroughs for $5. Tourists & overpaid bankers/brokers must keep this place alive. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE

Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with fries and the sandwich was so-so and the fries were worse than any cheap fast food place,the meal seemed very rushed,also some of the meat inside the chicken looked pink still.

They tried to rip me off there already a couple of times. And I only go there b/c its convinient across the street when my options are limitted. But not anymore!!! $11 breafast sandwich? Eat it yourself!
