Ive been to fiddlesticks a few times...went back because the brunch was sucha good deal but will never return after the lack of service we received. Waited 20 mins to just get menus and ultimately had to go up to the bar and ask for them myself. Ordered a medium burger with bacon, cheese and mushroom and side salad. waited 40mins and got a well done burger with no fixings and a hard, crusty bun. salad looked like it had been sitting under a hot lamp as the lettuce was brown, with no dressing. Im not a picky eater and hardly ever return food but had to in this case as the order was blatantly wrong and the food looked disgusting. Waitress replaced my order but it was still wrong but at that point my brother had already finished his meal and didnt want to wait another 30 mins. Fiddlestank.

I USED to love this bar, until our checks at the end of the night were screwed up one too many times. My friend was once charged for someone else’s tab - $150 for one drink. It took her about a month to get this charge removed from her account. I’m a pretty understanding person, but this happened on an extremely slow Sunday night. On a busier night my friend and I were charged for drinks we never ordered. I was charge an additional $50 and she was charged for 3 additional drinks, they didn’t even have the one drink she did order on her tab. This honestly makes me question how often this happens.

Used to come here for brunch on the reg with my friends. We always, always, always, ordered the Full Irish Breakfast. Cant be beat. Came with 2 free drinks and enough food to feed an Irishman. Recently, however, I was saddened to hear that this is no longer true. The management of Fiddlesticks elected to reduce the number of food items that came with the Full Irish Breakfast, take away the free drinks entirely AND raise the price. Bush league, Fiddlesticks. Bush league. I wont be coming back.

I visited New York for a week and was told to check out Fiddlesticks. It was the kind of pub you can find most places but it had a certain flair to it. The food was okay, nothing special but the service was generally lacking. A couple friends and I just wanted to talk and enjoy a few beers but we were bothered by a server at least every 5 minutes. Overall, price isnt bad for New York and I would probably go back but theres better bars. On the weekends, the place does get very packed.

They have a good selection of beers including a rotating Sam Adams Seasonal tap. Theres also patio seating if you want to enjoy a drink while watching the street but it seems to be very popular. The bar inside is nice enough but it gets incredibly loud and so you shouldnt expect to hold a conversation with more then one person. One of the bartenders looked like an older sadder Middle Eastern Ted Mosby when I went. If you check in on Foursquare you get a free shot!

Didnt have the food, rating solely on the bar. The bar is really fun at night because they get extremely busy. Why do they get busy? Im not really sure. Beer menu isnt huge, and theyre all incredibly overpriced. The place itself is cool inside and is pretty large and everyone was energetic having fun. The Dj was great. Would recommend here for a party bar, if youre looking for something a little more lax but still cool try Greenwich treehouse a few doors down.

Fiddlesticks has outdoor seating which is great, pretty large inside as well, but when we went on a Friday evening the service was pretty terrible. Happy hour is until 8pm and drinks are $5 (beer, house wines, well liquor), expected the food to be less expensive. $14 for a veggie burger at a pub? Too much. But It was large and had plenty of seating, fairly lively, not bad happy hour. Disappointed because the website advertises cheaper prices and specials.

Stand up Irish bar that even has Magners on tap and there is a large space in the back room that can be reserved as party space. Recently hosted a birthday party there, and while there was a slight mix up with the reservation, the whole situation was taken care of very gracefully by Cameron, the reservations person. Great spot to hang, and I was even more impressed by how they took care of a small problem. Will definitely be drinking here again!

I have not had the pleasure of meeting, in person, the staff at this bar as yet. However, I am looking forward immensely to the day that I do. The service provided to my husband and I by Manager, Chris and his team today was outstanding. The www has enabled me to provide the decor rating. Unfortunately, the wonders of modern science mean that my rating on food may be severely dissing the kitchen staff. Ann Willis, W Australia

Pros: - best coat check in New York City - friendly auxiliary bartender gave my wife his balloon Cons: - I mentioned the coatcheck as the best thing about the bar. - Literally becomes as packed as a rush hour subway train at night. We all would have died had a fireball shot at the bar actually included flames. - Only two decent tvs on which to watch a game - Its SO crowded. Why? What am I missing?

Think college bar...get Fiddlesticks. A Very fun place but not really cost effective...easily blow $100 in a night here especially considering the heavy female population that look damn good. But you pay for the experience...who doesnt like to be groped from the front and back trying to work your way through the crowd. I kid but it does get really crowded so if that is not your scene then stay away

The scene is full of young people in their 20s leaning towards the younger end. Great bartenders and good cocktails. On the weekends this place gets really crowded near the first and second bars... But if you want space you can always go near the overflow on the right. Its a place to have fun and meet new people. If you go on an off night its a great place to chill that also has outdoor seating.

I love this place. Its a perfect distance from Brooklyn without being too far East, and the atmosphere cant be beat. With a two-floor setup, quick service, wooden booths and tables, I LOVE Fiddlesticks. Ive always paid cash here so I havent had any trouble as referenced below. Service is always friendly and this is a perfect place for a casual first date!

One does not go to fiddlesticks for the drinks- because those are awful. Its the atmosphere you go for! We were desperate for shelter from the rain since we couldnt get in to some jazz clubs (sold out.) I got a pear martini... it only tasted of greygoose and something sour. They shook the old fashioned, and my moscow mule was lime and only lime

The brunch is/was a great deal. For $10 bucks you are entitled to a good-sized brunch (e.g., burger, eggs benedict, etc) and 2 drinks. The only catch is the lack of service. If you dont have anywhere to go and want a great deal, Fiddlesticks is the place for you, however, a few bucks isnt worth it for me.
