I persuaded a bunch of my co-workers to order from Happy Times Cafe because I always wanted to try it. They were excited to try it, but what a mistake it turned out to be. First, the food was absolutely disgusting! All seven of us felt the same way and we all got different things. One girl said her hamburger was "so greasy, it was like eating mashed potatoes." Another girl said her roast beef sandwich "looked like human flesh." Another girl felt really sick from the Reuben. That was embarrassing to me because I was the one pushing to order from Happy Times. Second, the woman who delivered the food had a very nasty attitude. She was trying to collect money on food that was already paid for. When one co-worker found out where we ordered from she immediately wanted the order cancelled. She was told "the order went out already, someone has to pay for it." What a desperate act! That is not a proper or professional attitude to have to maintain business. They will not be getting any of our business EVER AGAIN and I have been telling people not to order from Happy Times and would prefer to give it no stars! Hated it is putting it nicely.

The Happy Times Cafe has really gone downhill in the last few months, and I am never going back. I loved it when it opened, but today was the last straw. After being told that they didnt have two of the menu items, I finally settled on something they said they had and also ordered for my coworker. What they delivered (FRENCH FRIES AND SOMETHING THAT APPEARED TO BE CHICKEN NUGGETS IN A WRAP) was not even close to what I had requested. When I called up, they said they couldnt send the delivery person back with the correct order. Really? I AM A FIVE-MINUTE DRIVE FROM HAPPY TIMES. They did offer a free lunch the following day, but I asked for my money back. Happy Times Cafe is looking more like the Sad Times Cafe.

We stumbled on this place during lunchtime driving on 110. My comrades and I were quite disappointed. The door was locked during what should be peak operating hours and we had to be let in by the cook. He seemed rather angry during the whole process. There were maybe 2 or 3 other hapless individuals eating lunch at the time. The food took forever and was not by any stretch of the imagination worth the wait. The chicken cordon bleu was perhaps the worst Ive had. To top it off, the prices were outrageous and the credit card machine took ~5 minutes to process my card.

just 2things.. the owner MARY...is a scam artist and cheap skate.. and when you work for her, they try to pull fast one on you.. i would deff not recommend anyone on going there, also the kitchen in nasty and filthy.. not something you want to have when your ordering your food, or catered..

I was nervously because its not a traditional restaurant location. But They were great. What I wanted wasnt on the menu but they quickly whipped it up and didnt charge me an arm and a leg. Great experience. Best pancakes ever and the cook was really fun... Lol. The cashier too. Lol

Place is like a ghost-town, outdated (beyond the 50s theme). Slow service and very pricey for the quality of food being served. DONT BOTHER STOPPING HERE unless you would like to be disappointed and remain hungry.

Dining room was filthy, order was messed up twice. Ordered a party melt and the bread was not even toasted. Only up side is that it was a cheap lunch. Thats it. Will never visit again

I go here almost everyday on my lunch break. Service is excellent. Always gets my order right. Fast paced. Very friendly people behind the counter and on the grill. Highly recommend.
