Ive never left a review in my life, but my experience at SmashBurger today was so awful that I had to. My dad and I decided to stop for lunch. We had no change for the meter, he went inside to explain that we would be eating there, but needed to first ask for change. The cashier immediately looked at him and said "not my problem" and turned her back like a toddler throwing a tantrum. When he asked to speak to the manager, he lacked any social skills, and was unable to handle the attitude coming from his employee. As we were walking out with our backs turned he passive aggressively said "we arent a bank to be giving out change". I agree, you arent a bank sir, but you are a manager of a restaurant, and you should have control over your employees. Even more so, you should understand basic respect and needs of your customers, especially when asking for a simple request. As a business owner I understand that some things may be against policy. Never was it stated that producing change for a customer was against their policy. Maybe SmashBurger should take this under consideration; along with higher standards in employee training. I cant speak to the quality of their food. Which is unfortunate because I really did want to try it. After that experience I can say I wont be going back.

The food at Smashburger is delicious --- all of it -- my daughter and I love it. That said, the service is the worst I have ever consistently received. I have never ever ordered something when they got the order right. These either squish the orders to go in a small lunch bag or into one of the largest shopping bags. They can never hear me on the phone because the music in the background is far too loud. When I try to explain the problem about service to them, they do not understand it at all. Nobody understands customer service in this place or how to run things efficiently. Everyone in my area who has ever been there has the same problem. Great food --- worst service ever! Cant go back anymore....

This place is a joke. Waaaaay to many "bros" working. Everyone is "sup bro" "whatcha need bro". They are so slow and disorganized that they wont last. Word in town is that the food is good but you will have to wait a very long time cause the staff is terrible. Not one manager in the place. Although maybe the grey haired guy with the mustache who spends all his time texting is in "charge". Food is good, staff stinks.

Their website said they were open until 11pm on a Friday night. I ordered and paid online. When I arrived at 10pm, they were closing. The manager was very rude and dismissive and refused to give me a refund. After emailing Smashburger headquarters, demanding a refund for food I was never served, they apologized, but still did NOT refund my money. Awful way to run a business, never going there again.

Smashburger is the best burger restaurant in the world right now. We are so lucky to have this restaurant in Mamaroneck. The staff are excellent over here and we consistently have great Burgers every single time. None of the workers are lazy or rude and they always are on point and if there was ever any little mistake they fix it immediately and are very apologetic. All I can say is Go Smashburger!

first time i went here staff was very very slow as others have said update they have changed the staff since my first visit and the place is great all around now great food great service !!! And now back again to Slow slow slow nobody in the place and waiting for ever for food . They went down hill again .

Most nastyist place ever. I saw a mice and their was nice poop all over my milk shake the manger is nasty VINNY he ate the left overs of my fries off my tray & the cook Stephen is very very roos and threatened to spit in my food. The other employee Lydia is very nice and helped me out the most . She is great!

Filthy place. Food waste on tables and floor. Poor service. Argued with cashier who didnt know they serve chicken burgers, even though its on their menu. Apparently its called a chicken sandwich in Mamaroneck. Tasteless, oily food in a dirty restaurant. Not recommended.

I love the smash fries above everything because of the seasoning, but they are often/made a little too oily and or greasy. Hamburgers are good, salads are big nice food portions.
