Its like that cheap bar you went to in college grew up. The drinks are relatively inexpensive, and the place has a somewhat "cozy" feel that makes you want to become a regular. It can get a bit noisy on nights where there are events. Did I mention there are events? Check out the flyers around the bar if you want to try stopping by during a darts tournament or some other gathering. In all, its a great place to try if you live nearby, but not necessarily worth traversing multiple boroughs to visit.

Im a huge Liverpool FC fan. I live in Astoria and I used to wake up at 7 on Saturdays to make the trip down to the East Village to watch matches at the LFCNY. Then I found the Rover. Now I just roll down the block in my PJs and watch games with some of the nicest people youll meet in the city. And the St. Pats celebration there has more Irish people than any bar in Manhattan. Great place.

All you need to know is that this place is a quite and classic pub that you can have a drink and some conversation and not be harassed. Mike is one of the best bartenders Ive ever experienced. You never get ripped off. You never feel rushed. And the bathrooms are clean enough. You can get you some darts on if you like and the music is right up my alley.

Mike is an awesome bartender and amazingly nice guy. The bar is relatively small, but somehow theres always space to be found. There are ton of TVs so you can watch games from any angle and most importantly the drinks are really cheap, but well made.

Bartenders are awesome and super sociable. They treat their customers well and the prices are pretty good for a bar. My friends and I come here all the time they practically know us now cause its sort of hanging out with friends and not just bar.

Classic Irish pub. My best recommendation is a pitcher of beer to share with friends. The bartenders are always no-nonsense but still genuine and the crowd is always real people. No fluff or fanfare- come here to drink and be proud of it.

Great local spot. Usually pretty quiet, but can be a lively Irish pub. Dart league meets there sometimes, and they have a big screen for the games. Friendly bartenders. Pretty much everything youd want in a bar

Super friendly (Mike is awesome) and inexpensive. Great neighborhood bar, and very authentically Irish. Love this place! I only wish you could order there but theyre very cool about bringing in outside food.
