I really appreciate that McCanns is so consistent with their prices, food, and staff. Ill occasionally come here for wings and a beer on mondays. If this pub was on another planet that didnt have pubs, it would earn 3 michelin stars for nailing such an establishment. The sweet and spicy wings are fried (this is my cheat meal). The fried coat and tender meat is similar to stepping on fresh snow that has a thin frozen top layer. You hear the crunch when breaking through the delicious delicate skin and your teeth land softly on the bone after driving though the cushioning protein. The sweet and spicy sauce is surprisingly mixed in house with pineapple and peppers and is more than Id ask for; from the appearance outside. I will be coming back.

Coming from a small town to New York City was a bit much at first but McCanns small town atmosphere helped in a big way. Their slogan is "Why Leave Astoria", and many nights when I debated whether or not to go to an overcrowded/overpriced bar in the city, McCanns came through. Their staff is friendly, bar food is delicious (they even have genuine buffalo wings), a good amount of beer selection (which is fairly priced), pool tables are NOW brand new, and they even shell out the darts on Saturday nights. Only downside Id say are UFC nights, way to much testosterone in there, but I guess thats comes with the UFC crowd. Anyway, thanks McCanns, see you soon.

This is the only "Irish Pub" type bar in the neighborhood. Its a great place to go and watch the game or grab a late night drink. They have awesome specials all week long so it is always a plus on a Monday or Tuesday night. The crowd is mostly locals which is nice. The food is always good traditional pub fare.

Local Irish Pub - Awesome place to make new friends. I always can catch a Rangers game or UFC fight on their TVs. The bartenders are great and easy to talk to. There are pool tables in the back and overall this place is just super easy going.

I love this bar. Its very old school pub - not pretentious, lots of awesome appetizers, a pool table, good happy hour. Love coming here after work and getting curly fries and a beer.

Walked in asking to watch a Premiership game and in a few minutes I was relaxing in the back lounge with my own screen and a great beer. Tops in hospitality and client satisfaction.
