Such a jewel in this area that I found while driving around the area. I will just run down in bullet points and you can take you like: 1. Large space, good large family groups. 2. Intimate, small area are created for couples. The chairs are handmade! 3. Dress Code was extremely low, I went in with a printed t-shirt and shorts. It was just a hang out day with my wife. 4. If you are Hispanic and like spicy food then you have to ask for hotter sauces. 5. Nice out door seating 6. Live Music!! at your table 7. My waiter was the best, beard and glasses. Very helpful. 8. Waiter was not pushy at all and come over at the right times. 9. Parking, well, I went at around 6 PM so there was enough around the side streets. Nice area to walk. "ILL BE BACK!"

This is a great place to go if you want to have food that LOOKS like Mexican food. No flavor at all - forget having Mexican flavors, the food needs the basics like salt and pepper. Also, its fairly overpriced - I would say $22 for a chicken disk and $12 for the guacamole "for 2" which consists of one avocado is a bit much for what you get. The place does look clean, the staff is on top of attending to your needs (refill, salt, pepper, hot sauce and anything else to make the food go down). Plenty of room for large groups and a nice atmosphere.

Used a Groupon coupon and they did everything possible to discourage us from ever wanting to return! Isnt the point of Groupon to get you to return to the restaurant? Food was dreadful, bordering on inedible. I had steak fajitas and the meat couldnt be chewed. Theres a great Mexican restaurant a few miles away, Coyote Flaco in New Rochelle and my husband and I agreed that theres no need to ever patronize Tequila Sunrise. We live in the neighborhood and get to either easily. Well not go back!

horrible!! .. seating, confusing. we went inside and we were yelled at to come back out to sit at the tables on sidewalk. meanwhile we stood out there and all the servers just ignored us. glasses had lipstick stains on them. food was cold. had to ask for silverware 2x & when we got it, it was dirty. waiter showed no interest. kids and I were so disappointed. never going back. oh! the brown wooden spoon looked so old and to think of the bacteria, we didnt eat it.

First off the food is awful!!!! Its extremely bland, no seasoning whatsoever. Ive never been to a Mexical restaurant where the food is bland. 2nd, its pricey! I dont mind paying if the food is good, but it was awful. I would never go back to Tequila Sunrise nor recommend to a friend. If you order an espresso dont get the sambuca that they recommend, its $8! Plus $3 for the espresso. The service was very good, though.

Our experience at Tequila Sunrise was very sub-par: the refried beans tasted burnt, I did not like the sauce on my tamales, and the whole meal was lacking in flavor. For the high prices charged, I expected MUCH better food. Perhaps the cook had a bad night? This was our first visit, we took an out-of-town guest here and had to apologize for the bad food! Will not be coming back.

Worst place ever do not recommend service is bad server dont care very rude , drinks are disgusting and food has no flavor , they promote live mariachi on Sundays but Is not true , the only way you hear them is if you pay to come to the table , even the kids hate it , dont waste your time , very bad Sunday family dinner

Used to love this place for their mojitos and Mexican fare. Ive slowly experienced quality degradation and go back and try it every 6 months. Unfortunately trending in the wrong direction. That being said it remains a solid spot to go to at night (10pm+) and get served with better quality than a diner.

Very disappointed with my meal. As others have said, food lacked flavor and on top of it all found hair in my food. Fruit tasted stale in drinks and in desserts. Even simple kids meal was horrible. Only reason I gave 2 stars was for the wait staff - they were great. Never going back.

Ruined my night. I waited 40 min for my food. When it came out the sauce had a film on the surface like it had been sitting around for 20 min. The waitress never came around to see if we needed more drinks.... I should have stayed home and just lit $100 on fire.

Food is bland. Beans taste like they are from a can. Rice has no flavor. Chips need salt and should be served warm. Salso also tastes as if is mass produced. Main course lacks the flavors of real Mexican food. Not worth my time or money.

Had a burrito and was sick in the middle of the night! The steak was black that was inside the burrito. Tortilla chips were stale as they are left exposed in a bin by the front door! Waste of money and loss of sleep from getting sick!
