I believe in second chances! Do you? I have been to Mad for Chicken twice now. I enjoyed it so much the first time, I decided to come back and brought some friends. This time it was not as good as the first. They set the bar so high that I was somewhat disappointed my 2nd time here. The good.... *AMAZING WINGS! Super crunchy on the outside and super moist on the inside. If you like SPICY, these are SPICY! Some of my friends were crying because of how hot these wings are. It comes with a cup of pickled radish and a cup of creamy sweet corn. *Beer Sangria....They only have it by the glass and not pitchers darn! *Parmesan fries...another crunchy on the outside dish, soft potato on the inside, not a bit greasy. Served with a chipotle mayo and ketchup. *Fried dumplings..Super crunchy shell, super spicy sauce and super tasty! *If you check in on Facebook or Instagram (why not YELP huh???) you get a free frozen yogurt. You are going to need it to put out the fire in your mouth after eating these wings! There was 7 of us and they only gave us 2 yogurts. The bad.... *They dont take reservations for the weekend. *We ordered Truffle fries along with a basket of Parmesan fries....they are basically the same thing except one has a couple of drops of truffle oil which just makes them taste too greasy. SKIP IT! *Most of the beers they offer on their menu or that were written on the chalk board were not available. *Parking is a little difficult....meter street parking. The ugly.... *Our server told us they were short staffed in the kitchen that night this is why our order came out in bits and pieces. Our apps came out after our meal! They forgot a few things so we had to remind them. *They got my order totally wrong. I told our server that I was so disappointed and he offered me a free drink for getting my order wrong. Nice right?!? EEEHHHH....more like Nice try! I ordered another beer sangria which was more of the Coors light than Sangria. So while the service was off par this time around, the food was still freakin fantastic! I am going to give them another chance because I am so MAD FOR CHICKEN!!

This place is ... Bon Chon style chicken (identical) with better service accompanied with an interesting ambiance. Yes like all fresh fried chicken places ... it does take a bit of time ... around 30 mins for your order to arrive ... other than that ... it was great. They served Fresh popcorn seasoned with some pepper/ramen/cajun style flavor (was pretty good) while you drink and wait for your chicken. Arrived around 6pm and to our surprise ... it was happy hour! I felt as if i was here on a Groupon (wouldnt know since Ive never actually used their services) To start we ordered the fried calemad which was good and also on the happy menu ... beers and soju. They serve Killians Red as an option which is nice ... For the main course, we ordered one of every fried chicken dish (you guessed it, all on the happy menu!). They offer two options for your chicken to be bathed in ... Soy or Spicy ... Spicy was the way to go but i do enjoy soy once in awhile. Was it the best fried chicken Ive ever had? No. But it was pretty darn Good! After more orders of beer and soju ... Decided to try a Spicy shrimp dish (just okay @ first). The management was nice enough to accommodate udon noodles for the dish, which made it pretty good. The crowd was very mixed young and older to family to teens ... which was nice. Between 3 people ... could have served four (there was an extra order of wings and calemad) At the end of this afterwork "Im buying tonight deal" ... I was happy to receive the check. Even with a generous tip ... it was just under a $100!!!

Have you ever wanted to grab a bite with your buddies and enjoy watching sports while feeling at home? Well, Mad for Chicken is your place to go when you’re in the mood for some juicy, young, garlic fried chicken, crispy, oregano parmesan fries and a tv at your own table for watching baseball! The chicken is breaded in a thin garlic or spicy flavored layer while leaving your mouth watering with succulent chicken. The fries are something I’ve never tasted before. The flavoring of each and every fry is so well put together that you forget how much you’re eating until it’s all gone. Now when you’re thirsty after eating all that chicken and fries, you can order a pitcher that not only prevents the beer from becoming flat and warm, it also is enticing to the eyes. The color of the container is like a lava lamp that changes colors before your eyes. It’s definitely a ohh-ahh must see experience. Because the chicken is so fresh, they make it on the spot and it takes about 25 minutes for the chicken to arrive but they do provide a takeout and delivery service. Other than that, you’ll be running back for more once you’ve tried the sumptuous and oh-so-amazing garlic chicken.

While waiting, server gives you a small bowl of popcorns. Soy Garlic Korean Fried Chicken Mix - Mixed with wings and drumstick, I was surprised that some drumsticks were smaller than the wings. The top of the chicken was crispy however towards the bottom of the basket, the chicken was extra stick and soft. Also towards the bottom of the basket, the chicken was a bit saltier than the rest of the chickens. The side was really small. I wish the side of radish would be bigger Tips: Mix them well to avoid all the sauce to be drained on to the bottom of the basket. Truffle Fries – the fries were well season. They gave two side of sauce, ketchup and siracha mayo. Although the siracha mayo has a new twist. I think basil or some sort of herbs were infused with it. Tips: Next time I would ask for extra crispy. Bulgogi Over Rice – Definitely would come back for this rice dish. I personally do not eat onions and bell paper easily, but the onions were season and caramelized perfectly. On top of that the bell pepper was not soggy, when biting the bell pepper was crispy and fresh. The bulgogi was soft, tender and perfectly cooked.

Im a big fan of Mad for Chickens Korean fried chicken. My favorite is their soy garlic wings. Their spicy garlic is also good, but too spicy for my taste. You also have the option of choosing half/half. Their wings are full of flavor, especially the crunchy skin on the outside. An order of Parmesan fries is also a must; its crispy and addicting! Also comes with a side of spicy mayo and ketchup. They have a variety of drinks including soju, soju cocktails, wine, bottled beer, etc. (enough to make your belly a happy one). They accidentally gave away my leftover chicken (which I was looking forward to eat the next day). At least they were kind enough to give me a 20% discount off my entire bill. But, I still miss my chicken.

Mad for Chicken is def a favorite in our crew ! We go here for many sporting events or just to chill at least once a week, we have a squad of 4 to 8 people. The chicken is always cooked to perfection. Perfectly crisp on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. All of their chicken is awesome we usually get the half and half chicken breast but the wings are fantastic as well. The roti tacos are also delicious and the fries are money in the bank. Also they give you this popcorn instead of bread like most restaurants do and Im always refilling on that. The beer selection is good and the prices are fair. Love this place !
