Unfortunately, I had to give this a 1, but I really give this a flat out 0 stars. My daughter works for this company in Ossining, NY. She has gone to Cortlandt numerous times to use her Partner Discounts and this one Manager has been beyond rude to her right from the start. Funny thing is we have met another very pleasant manager from there whom we know the sister of. Well, one evening...today in fact 08/11/16. We just got banned for requesting a receipt of the transaction. Regardless if she voided it or not. She refused and told us she would call my daughters manager. My daughter used her Employee App on her phone to get a discount. Every single time without fail my daughter has come out of their upset at how she is treated. This Manager who was not wearing a name tag nor would she give me her name had thrown a straw at her when her order was completed. When I heard this I had gone instead requesting the receipt because my daughter didnt get one. Not even from the voided transaction. As a customer this was disrespectful, disgusting, and unbelievable. Ive worked in Customer Service. YOU dont do that, no matter how much you dislike a customer or how they are reacting to you. It is your job to maintain some level of respect and customer service. That saying the Customer is always right. Its true and should be upheld. Now if they are screaming and causing a scene, then obviously I can see this is the type of situation one could lose their own cool with and not react well either. Except this isnt what happened at all. WE were both pleasant to her. However, all my daughter did was present her phone APP to pay for her items discounted (linked to her Employee Partner Card) and this Manager was rude at the start. Then when I wanted proof of this transaction I was told we are to never come back. I have reported her to Starbucks and I will report this everywhere I go. She is about the worst Manager Ive come across, and at my age Ive met quite a few of some questionables. I also remembered this is the same Manager that I have seen with her son at work??? Code of Ethics and Guidelines as an Employee would NOT condone this. Hmm, maybe I wasnt there long enough and it was a passing thought in my mind as a mother. However, Im not the only one to see this. The same kid is always there as others have told me. Not good for Starbucks. This store I had such high hopes for and thought my daughter would work there. Nope, Im glad she works in Ossining. Much cleaner and the people are pleasant to deal with. However, best store Ive heard that my daughter has been to and used her Partner APP with is Pleasantville and every other store that she has been to in New York so far, except Cortlandt that always gives her a problem AND by the same Manager... EVERY...SINGLE...TIME. If you go to Cortlandt...beware! Some of the people are okay, but beware of the service of this manager! I WILL find out who she is. I have a call in to Starbucks Corp...see how that pans out. IF not Im off to BBB and will definitely spread the word. Otherwise its boycotting for us and we will tell others. Who wants to deal with bad service? Im sure no one does.

Ive been pretty loyal to these guys despite them moving at a snails pace since they opened, until today. Today my girlfriend and I tried out the mobile ordering on the app which gave us a time window of 4-9 minutes-no problem. We arrive and my drink is ready and waiting, hers is no where to be found. After waiting 12 minutes we ask where her drink is. The barrista tells us that theyre actually out of mocha. So despite not telling us when we got there that something required for the drink needs to be made she right away gets an attitude when asked how long the mocha would take to prepare for the drink. I ask for a manager and she claims she is a manager and cant give me the simple eta Im asking for on the mocha needed for the drink. She offers my girlfriend a 4 dollar refund card instead of trying to deal with the situation and while were in the middle of talking rudely walks away while Im in the middle of a sentence to get another manager while theres about 15 cups ready to be made in front of her. My girlfriend ended up getting a small iced coffee out of it which wasnt remotely close to what she wanted and wasted around 20 minutes of our time for the whole ordeal. I give these people over 100 dollars a month and it ends today. This place is a disgrace and wouldnt last 2 minutes in the city.

This Starbucks is awesome . complaints that they are slow are probably from the customers that order a " grande triple nonfat soy 5 pump extra foam double hot latte. ....oh wait no....make that a ventI quadruple 1/3 almond milk 1/2 soy 4 pump caramel Frappuccino. .." .......2 minutes later....drink delivered despite a 10 car back up at the drive through , 15 online orders and a packed cafe......perhaps they need to bring baristas up from the city who must possess 10 arms because apparently they can make 5 drinks at once!!! Love u Starbucks!

I really love this place. Everyone complaining about it being slow dont realize there is a line of 30 people coming in at once. I really enjoy the employees here and have not had a bad experience. If anyone is trying to get their coffee faster, here is a tip. You can order online and when you show up its fresh and ready... I am happy they opened up and always spend time here. Great addition to the area. If you are in town and want to have a wonderful coffee made, ask for Vikki, shes great!

The absolute worst experience at Starbucks in my entire history being a Starbucks consumer. These people seriously think we are just there to watch them waste our time. I placed a mobile order and over 10 minutes, zero- people in line and no one at the drive-thru window later i got my drink from a very unpleasant barista. Extremely dissatisfied with this location. I have never waitied 15 minutes for a Passion Tango Tea, especially in a practically empty location! Rubbish!

This was the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Extremely long wait just to even order, the older woman at the register has a terrible attitude and didnt even want to take my order. Over staffed to the point its inefficient. My drinks were horrible, my lattes tasted like warmed up milk, this place doesnt even offer what they advertise. This was the first and last time I come here. The treatment, the quality everything was horrible. Stay away.

This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. I was driven to write this review today because it took me 20 minutes earlier to get 1 drink at the drive thru. There was 1 person ahead of me and when I got to the window there werent any customers inside. They are so slow and very poorly managed. I shouldnt have to wait 10 minutes to place my order and another 10 to get my drink. This is crazy and this Starbucks needs a new manager!!!
