I am not someone who visits the proper, but I am a resident around the corner from this establishment. My family has been here for 37 years and we implore the Proper Cafe to rent the parking lot of Farmbria, when you are having a huge turn out. The residents of the neighborhood are extremely tired of having to battle Proper Cafe merchants for parking on the street that we pay taxes and the street that we keep clean. When the merchants are leaving they are loud and obnoxious at the extreme hours of the morning in a family friendly neighborhood. A great alternative would be to rent the Farmbria parking lot which will keep your merchants off of the residential block. Thank you

I was a performer on Tuesday night 12/08/2009. I got a rare chance to see Drew Fraser,Pat Brown and Faceman. These are three funny people. Where else are you gonna see these three in one night? The club is clean and the atmosphere is sexy! I did not eat anything so I cant comment there. But I did hear the bell ringing a lot and I saw a lot of people eating. It must have been good. Nice crowd, and easy parking,Manhattan Nightclub feeling! I hope to return soon! Dave

We went there last night when the had this great Jazz experience. Many great musicians continued coming in and joining with with the band that was playing. Its amazing how they filled the place with a great sound. I had the wing basket which I could hardly finish and Linda had the Crab meat Stuffed Tillapia. Prices were very low and the food was great. BEST PLACE EVER ... I use to work here when i was younger and come here to eat with my family... i will have to say this has some of the best food ever tasted... thanks for the good memories... Im still thinking about all of them

I love that place. The only think I dont like about the proper is if you want to grab a drink and leave you have to pay a cover to get in. I just want a drink not damce.
