Its not really close to a subway, which by New York standards kind of puts it in the boonies, but its a perfectly good locals kind of place for everyone in the Columbia Waterfront District. Sure, youre going to walk 10 minutes from the Carroll Street F stop, but so what? Cheap beers, especially on a Monday when I was here are nothing to sneeze at. And if you live in the neighborhood, its even better because you barely ever have to worry about it being too crowded. Pool table in the back, with a small flat screen TV up front that might get choppy signals during a crucial play (doubt its their fault, I blame Time Warner) and a friendly bartender is about all I could ask.

Came here on a nice sunny Saturday afternoon. The bar has a divey feel, with a really great back porch for sitting outside. They pour a decent Guinness here, which isnt always easy to find! Solid spot in the neighborhood.

weirdly, no beers on tap, just a few bottles of brooklyn brewery, sierra nevada etc. the back garden is ok if you are waiting around in the neighborhood, like say waiting for a seat at pok pok.

Cozy place with a pool table & nice staff. They dont have a kitchen so bring in anything you want from the neighborhood and enjoy a drink with it...

Horrible experience. Stoned out bartender.... Very nasty! And the owner was plain horrible! Very rude!
