The food is pretty good. And the girls answering the phone are a little rude. Today I ordered shrimp chow mein, I wanted to try something new and looked online to see what it looked like. So I ordered it, mind you I drove about 20 to get the food. I come home to find cabbage and onions soaked in some sort of lobster sauce with rice and 5 little shrimp. So immediately drive back another 20 minutes. So actually its a little over an hour of my time. They said thats how their shrimp chow mein is, look online and no pictures come up with what I described. So I asked for my money back, she gave me the money minus tax. Now the point of this long review and I probably should have mentioned earlier is that I order from there about once a month. And every single time they always forget something! Like if I ordered a combination they would forget the egg roll. One time I ordered shrimp fried rice for my daughter and came home with vegetable lo mein. So as of today, it will be the last time Ill be ordering from there.

Most things here are very good, but nothing that Ive taken out is excellent, except for the Hot & Sour Soup. To be fair, Ive never eaten in the restaurant, and Chinese food should be eaten moments after its prepared to achieve the best effect. That said, its probably the best in the area all around, most days. Dumpling skins are a bit thick, but the sauce is ideal. Not the least bit sweet. Very slow delivery, so I order and wait to pick up. They have housemade duck sauce and mustard, so I would recommend asking for those, as well as specifically asking for their crunchy noodles; getting them doesnt seem to be automatic, and they arent the narrow prepackaged kind. Also, the menu shown here is not correct. I will post pictures of the correct one.

The food is always good. Unfortunately they just lost us as costumers. They charged us 1.00 for two hot mustards which they never did. When I went back asked to speak to the owner. He explained to me that if your order comes to over 15.00 ( which ours did) the first one is free. I told him we were never charged ever. But I said beside that point you still charged us 1.00 for two. He hands me .50 and I tell him if the first one is free with the meal you should be giving me 1.00. You charged me for both. I gave him back his .50 and told him you lost a customer for a dollar. So basically he was handing me back .50 for the first one and was willing to lose a customer over 1.00.

Do not order take out. The quality is not the same as if you eat a inside the restaurant. The owners are very cheap when preparing food. The wonton soup is 90 percent dough, and 10 percent pork. You do not get the moo shu pancakes, nor do you get the moo shu sauce that comes in the small container. They make there own dumpling sauce that is made with 100 percent soy sauce. Dumpling sauce should be semi sweet.. Not by a long shot.. You might as well use your own soy sauce from home. Their chicken and broccoli is 10 percent chicken and 90 percent broccoli. Today will be the last time i order from here again.

Im from NYC traveling to the shore for some relaxation. I tried this place with my boyfriend the staff is highly aware of customer service which is key to bringing back business she was always on top of the dishes and water and nice . The food was great fresh and tasty not greasy and so much of it for a fair almost not believeble price. Like I said Im from nyc I know outrageous prices and fair ones and crappy Chinese to good Chinese... Definitely come here to eat and enjoy pretty scenary and tasty food.

Great food. If Joe gets in fresh bok choy just ask. Hell cook it up no problem. If not on the menus. Great delicious food. Staff is very friendly. Food excellent. Been dining here for over 30 years TAKE Out is very good. Either dining in or out the food is superb. If your not thier when your order is ready blame yourself if takeout taste different from sitting. Its always been on spot!

The food is decent, but the American girls who answer the phone are very rude and snobby and can learn a thing or two about customer service. They tend to forget things in my order sometimes, so I make sure I ask them to read it back. It wouldnt kill them to act like they enjoy their jobs instead of sounding like theyre dying when they read your order back.

I ordered delivery, 2 dishes, a side of rice and a large wonton soup. What I received was 2 wonton broth soaked dishes, and a plastic container with 3 wontons in it. The best they would offer was a free soup that we would have to come get. NEVER Ordering from here.

Favorite Chinese takeout. Every time Im in Toms River, I come to Hunan. Best way to describe it is traditional Chinese takeout elevated. Food tastes fresh and is not greasy like most take out places.
