I went there after a recommendation from a local couple on the street. I can not say enough good things about this place. The owner was warm, welcoming, and took his time to ensure we had a good meal. The food there was amazing. Of our group, i ordered a hanger steak, it was cooked to perfection, seasoned amazingly and the mash was to die for. The anti pasto salad was fresh, crisp, and delicious. There was always fresh garlic bread on the table, which complimented the meal nicely. The lasagna was jucy and fresh, no section was burned, it was seasoned quite well; the cheeses in it were melted nicly and it was not greasy. And for the desert I would highly recommend the Cheese cake, it was smooth and creamy, with the strawberries glaze made it even better. The cappuccino was also on point, just wish they had vanilla syrup but Im just picky that way. Definitely try this place

I went there today 7/13/13 with a girlfriend that has to eat Gluten free.... and they advertise that they have Gluten Free........well we got there and it was dirty...the baseboard heat had dirt on it and the lights on the tables were very dusty and on the floor under our table was food that was dropped from another day.....I saw wine bottle foil under other tables......the food was just ok........they do make you feel welcome but that was the only thing that was good about the whole place.....they really need to step up to the plate being in Lake Mohawk.......would not recommend to anyone

Sam is a wonderful host. He was willing to close his restaurant on a Friday night to host a wedding rehearsal dinner for 70 people. Sam and I worked on customizing a menu with hors doeuvres, salad, and 3 entree choices. The price he came up with was extremely fair. The dinner went off without a hitch and a great time was had by all. We ended up having to delay our shuttle because everyone was having such a great time! Thank you Sam. -AJ

The owner Sam is the sweetest person... a true class act and a gentleman. He took such good care of us and made sure we had a great party! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was kind and attentive. Our family and friends raved about the food and service! Cant wait to go back!

Have not been recently, have tried the place three times more than two years ago. Food was overwhelmed with garlic, atmosphere pleasant service comical. Maybe it has improved as it is still open.

Excellent place! Clean, great service, byob, and the food was top notch! Definitely a gem! Pay cash if you can, 5% discount. Figure $40 a person with apps, main course, and tip.
