I am a resident of somers point nj , And i have to say their customer service has gone down hill. They rush you to order things .. No one has patiences and they are very rude. I am also A person who works with the public daily! Its a shame if they would have better attitudes and customer service skills maybe so many people would not agree. Ive lived here 11 Plus years. Learn How to treat and speak proper and mannerly to people who keep you in business.

A South Jersey institution. There are lots of ice cream places near the shore, but the Custard Hut is the place that has locals lined up for opening day. In addition to the old standbys (soft serve, banana splits) they also serve home made ice cream and Italian ice. Custard Hut is truly part of the community, too: family run and a sponsor of many local schools and causes. Worth a stop on your shore visit!

This place has a great selection of ice cream related foods. They also serve hotdogs and such. All the foods are great quality and they are fast at serving. The people working there are very nice, and there is plenty of seating and parking for customers. I really enjoyed this place and will definitely return!

I have been going here ever since I was a little with my parents. Always a popular local place in the summer. Recently they added more soft serve flavors like pineapple and espresso which are really good. They also have a wide selection of candy that they blend into a ice cream.

I was very disappointed in the service, I have a 3 year old who had to go to the bathroom it was an emergency and they said we couldnt use the bathroom,so she had an accident in my car. We had to leave our ice cream and we come once a week. We will never go back there again.

Ice cream and selection is good, but the snotty teenagers need to adjust their attitude. I understand its overwhelming with a lot of people, but we are patient with you so please be patient with us. We dont rush you to get our orders ready, so dont rush us.

Disappointed…. I stopped for custard. If there is a place that should have custard, you would think the "Custard Hut" would. Wrong…. its just the name. What a waste of time!

We had very helpful employees there. One of the reasons we went there was the outdoor service windows. I miss that old style. Really good cherry dipped cone!!!

I love their throwback thursdays (or tuesdays, not sure) but they charge the prices from the 90s. Very cool. They need some more water ice flavors though.
