Ive visited twice over the past year... I simply cannot recommend the place. The service was less than stellar (sat at the bar to order dinner and the bartender was there less than half of the time). Overpriced for the quality of the fare. Food was barely palatable both times. This time, my salad was at least a week past its prime... not just wilted, much of it was slimy and rotten. Walking out, the back door to the kitchen was propped open. Had I seen the filthy kitchen on the way in, I never would have ordered food. Even the draft beer tasted "off."

I recently moved into the neighborhood, and really love this place. The bartenders are great, the patrons are great, and the food is awesome. Ive come a few times, and both times Ive eaten were just amazing for a small place like this. Everything is seasoned well, the sauces are great, and Ive had nothing but very fresh food. Even on a slow night, its still a good time at Shenanigans! Highly recommend this place to anybody!

My fiance at that time (now my husband) discovered this place n I always past by but never decided to check it out...so he took me there the same day we got engaged...is a really nice place to go and chill or have something to drink and eat...and the girl Candy gave us an amazing service...so since then I keep comming back once in awhile....love ittt!!!!

Shenanigans is a hidden gem tucked away in Rockaway NJ. This is one of my favorite places to eat and hang out. The food is always outstanding, especially the pulled pork and burgers. Candy and her crew are always friendly and Gerardo does a great job with all the meals. Come Tuesday nights for karaoke and a great time with a great people.

Came here for the first time tonight on a whim. Absolutely delicious! I had the chicken marsala dinner, which was probably one of the best marsala dishes Ive ever had. And my husband had the Ruben sandwich, which was generously sized and also very good! All in all, we highly recommend Shenanigans and will be back.

So happy to be back to enjoy their Thai Calamari! I just told my husband that I dont need any fancy restaurant to celebrate moms day... I just want savory delicious food and this is the perfect local place for it! Great atmosphere and friendly staff!

A truly hidden gem in Rockaway Borough. I dont know what the last person was eating at. It is a truly clean and has great food. I have been a patron for years and never had a bad meal. Staff is like family and wait on you hand and foot.

Nice casual place with good pub grub and some above average entrees. Friendly bar that you can eat at or plenty of booths if you are there with friends. Candy, the owner is a sweetheart.
