We love the atmosphere- Its clearly a local go-to and is packed for breakfast on the weekends. The staff is great, as all the servers work together to attend to everyone, meaning your coffee cups and water glasses are always full. All of the food has been wonderful. Definitely try the chicken quesadillas! Our waitress recommended it on our first visit and we regularly have to indulge! Space is a little tight for large groups with mostly 4 person booths, bar seating and a couple of tables. Its also busy for lunches on the weekdays as they have a student menu for the high schoolers. Its a excellent local place with character and delicious food!

Back in the day this was the Cardinal Diner and popularly known as the Dirty Diner. It was a term of endearment and has improved with the name change. They serve comfort food plus some Latin dishes. I cant believe they are not open for dinner. They close at 300pm. I think this establishment would best be described as a luncheonette, not a cafe.

We come to the Cardinal whenever were in town, visiting our son. The service is excellent, the food is fresh and delicious and everyone is treated like family. The staff is amazing and we wouldnt eat breakfast anywhere else!
