Truly disgusting. (Just moved into the neighborhood, a month ago, and dont know the area well enough just yet). Ordered food from Wok II, this afternoon, for the first (AND LAST!!) time. Ordered vegetable egg foo young and (3) egg rolls. I took a bite of one egg roll and had to spit it out. Tried the egg foo young....wasnt impressed. Heres the problem: Its obvious Wok II doesnt change their cooking oil -- both items tasted rancid. The egg rolls - before I bit into one - looked saturated with grease, but the taste...oh, my god: You could taste (& smell) the industrial oil-ness of the egg roll. It was so gross! The egg foo young didnt taste AS bad, but it was overly greasy and the oil was not fresh. Sad for them: I wasted $12, for sure -- BUT, they lost the prospect of a new customer. May call them to let them know, but I have a feeling there will just be...attitude, you know? Will contact the Health Department, though, because this is a serious issue - I mean, what else isnt fresh there? Would advise that you not order a delivery because you will be expected to pay them before you have the chance to get back to your apt. to examine the state of the food. Very odd some of the reviews, because people are complaining about rudeness, about the delivery person not getting out of the car -- Huh??!! What about food being rancid? Good luck, All -- You HAVE been warned....

Rotten Potatoes - Unfortunately I had to select one star for the posting. :-( They get negative 10 stars for using rotten potatoes to make fries. They bought a bad batch and cooked it any way. When notified, they dumped it back into the fryer. Another customer asked what happened when she noticed that they were going to sell her the fries I rejected. They were upset because I told her what happened rather than apologetically fixing the problem. They had no intentions of making things better. That is a direct reflection of their attitude for their customers. They do not care. Good or bad, cook it and sell it. Someone will buy it. If they can do that with fries, I wonder what kind of rotten cabbage theyre frying to make egg rolls? This posting is the 1st penalty. The 2nd is, I am never coming back!!! Start speaking up folks!!

Please watch out for the fruit that they sell behind the counter, because they will sell you rancid fruit without a moments hesitation. When you go to the buffet, please be careful of the reused food and the spinach is always rancid. The shrimp is a little tough and the salad bar is warm to the touch. The salad bar is suppose to be cold, the cucumbers are wilted, the tuna/chicken salad is warm, the lettuce is wilted and the sushi is disgusting (and I am a sushi lover). Please be care. The only thing fresh is the rice!!!

you get what you pay for the food selection is good like any other Chinese restaurant so dont expect to be wow however they do offer more choices prices are a little high service is slow again this is just like any other Chinese restaurant so dont expect smiles please and thank you buffet is good but remember its an open buffet so things get a little crazy delivery is slow just about everyone in Newark New Jersey has ate here overall its a decent place

WHATEVER YOU DO AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! HORRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE. 1 HR LATE! THEN I OPENED MY FOOD TOOK 1 BITE AND DECIDED TO THROW IT ALL AWAY. DISGUSTING ROTTEN SMELLING CHICKEN WINGS. THE RICE WAS SO HARD IT WAS BASICALLY UNCOOKED. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I HOPE THIS PLACE CLOSES SOON. FROM THE LOOKS OF IT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO FEELS THIS WAY. FIRST AND LAST TIME I WILL EVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE.

Several times I have visited this restaurant and was told that if I used my credit card / debit card the purchase must be $10.00 or more. By the way, Im an African American Woman. Today, I was behind a Caucasian gentle and his food weighted / cost $6.34 and the gentleman gave his credit card as payment. I was shocked and shook my head. This is the worst Chinese food in the state of Nj and NY combined...and I have ate in numerous places in both states...I tried this place because I saw it served my favorite"chicken corn soup & cheese wontons"I live 5 mins from the place it took an hour and thirty five minutes for my food to get here and I called 3 times in that period and they kept saying 5 minutes, 5 minutes " when they finally got here...

Placed a order for delivery at 7pm never received it, called back at 9pm to cancel it. Was told that the driver on the way, kindly said no thank you. Terrible place unprofessional will never order from them again!
