I truly support this restaurant and eat here once in a while for this is a place that I can really bring somebody and look at Filipino food differently. For me, this is the only decent Filipino restaurant in New Jersey that I know where you will not be embarrassed to bring like your boss! I cant really bring my boss to a Filipino Turo-Truo $7.50 combo and a can of soda. Right? :P Its ambiance and presentation of food is pretty nice. Also their customers here are diverse mix of non Filipinos. It is not only concentrated to Filipino patrons. They have two menus; One Filipino and the other are mixed Asian. Lots of Filipinos I know tends to dislike this place for it is quite expensive. Cheap Charlies. Maybe $25 per head for a good meal, drinks, and desert. Overall this restaurant puts a little class to Filipino food versus the traditional $7.50 combo with soda.. all Turo-turo like east west, masagana, little quiapo, bread house, fiesta grill, blue ribbon, kabayan, casa manila, barangay union. None quite like it!

Had a nice dining experience at Pandan resto last night. The place is clean and has nice interior setting. The bright orange wall color sans picture frames gives the place a clean, quiet feel to it. I would suggest a couple more tall, green plants (live ones though). The serving staff is pleasant and helpful. Ate Rose who was the manager on duty that night was accommodating. The food was really delicious, we had crispy pata and shrimp with okra cooked in coconut milk. We wanted sans rival for dessert but they were out of it so we ordered pandan roll just to try. To our surprise, the dessert was a delightful treat! I usually push away cake icing for their headache-inducing sweetness but the icing of the roll was buttery with just right sweetness. This roll is a must try - truly. I highly recommend this place to Filipinos and their non-Filipino friends to try. Very nice dining experience overall. Keep up the good work, Pandan!

My fiance and her family come to this restaurant every now and then when were in the area and want some good filipino cuisine. The place doesnt really get that busy which is fine with me and the service is always pretty good. The presentation of the food is definitely a couple steps above your typical filipinio restaurant. My favorites here would be the Crispy Pata and the Kare Kare. The molo soup was actually pretty good on a rainy day too. Id recommend this place if youre in the area.

Excellent Filipino food at a very reasonable price (most dish are about $15 or below). Decent portion, and great flavors. I highly recommend their sigsig here - one of the best Ive had in NY/NJ area so far. Staffs (and our neighboring patron) are super friendly and are very enthusiastic to talk to you about the food they serve (and their culture in general). Tip: I was told they have kamayan nights every Thursday. Might have to come back and check it out one of these days.

Came here with a large party, most of whom had never had Filipino food before. The staff were very friendly and gave us their suggestions. We tried (and loved) everything from the Garlic Rice to Sizzling Sisig to Buko Pandan (so good here! not too sweet, perfect!) to Crispy Pata to Bihon. I thought all of the dishes were delicious, and would definitely come back for another taste of the crispy pata :)

Beautiful atmosphere, service was Great!, however, my meal was mediocre. I did order from the lunch specials, which was a good value. Next time will be for dinner.
