This is the weird experience I have ever had. A friend and I wanted to order take out. After reading all the glowing reviews, we called this place. The person answering the phone had no idea about whats on the menu. Could not verify any prices. The first time, she hung up the phone. We called about 7 more times (dont know why), and no one picked up the phone! On the eighth try, the same woman answered. I asked why she hung up. She said they were "busy." I then started to place the order, when I was given COMPLETELY different price for the order than what the website menu said. When I asked for clarification, the woman said "I am sorry, but the manager has told me to hang up on you." I have NEVER heard something like this ever before from any business! This was going to be our first time trying the place. But how can we even try if they dont even want to take an order?? It seems like this place doesnt want you to ask ANY question about their prices. You just have to accept that the website menu prices are different than the prices being told over the phone. Pay or theyll hang up! Good riddance! There are plenty of better places with better customer service.

I cant believe how incompetent they are. Very nice staff but completely unaware of the menu items and how to answer questions. There is no indication on the menu that the tamales have meat ... I asked the waitress what the difference between the green and red tamales were and she said "just the sauce". I even ordered another dish specifying that I was a vegetarian and am confirming it didnt have meat in it. Anyway, the red tamale came, I bit in, and it had meat. I asked the manager if the other tamale doesnt have meat as I dont eat meat. She said yes and ordered me another tamale. I didnt have the appetite to eat anything else, but didnt want to cancel my order so I took my food home. I open the green tamale at home only to find some weird meat substance inside of this one as well :( I will NEVER go to this place again and definitely dont recommend it to anyone who has dietary restrictions or likes to know what they are eating.

Pésimo servicio la comida demora demaciado encima que tienes que estar yamando ala gente para que venga a tomar tu orden y luego te ponen esos nachos todos quemados y grasosos, la verdad no recomiendo ese lugar a pesar que es comida mexicana nos pone por los suelos el servicio y la comida también caricima y deja de eso te dan Lo que ellos quieren ni te traen bien tus cosas que pides son muy ignorantes ahi.

La atención se volvió muy Mala!!!!! Perdieron un cliente ..... -si uno paga por su Plato, no entiendo porque uno no puede elegir la mesa en donde sentarse!!!! Nunca más volveré a este lugar ..... Solo pasa en los restaurantes Latinos!!!!! Que la comida sea rica , no significa que tenga que aceptar y tolerar malos tratos...

I order take out,Food is good, "But the handling of the to go food makes me think",I order taquitos de carnitas,each taco came in a aluminum foil.?If thats the case they should charge a little extra $$ for take out orders in which I wouldt mind paying a few extra cents,I understand that is just a small business ,and as like any business it has to have a budget, but at least they should make an effort not to scare customers away so they could use every to go order on a decent to go tin,I work in the restaurant business myself as an administrator,I could say that besides quality food it also needs to have presentation regardless if it is an order in the restaurant or a take out.

!!Es un restaunte malo en todo el sentido el !!Servio la comida yo espera 1 hora por la comida y mejor lo deje así yo nunca regresaría a este lugar tan malo y todavía la pendeja mesera se molesta y una señora que no sé si es la dueña me dices que si regreso ya no me va a tender pendeja vieja mete tu comida por el culo!!!

EXCELLENT FOOD, nice atmosphere, clean and newly renovated restaurant. Prices are super cheap compared to Hoboken and NYC. However, the service is a little shaky and the staff/waiters dont speak much English...but I guess if you want AUTHENTIC, it doesnt get any better than that! IMPORTANT TO MENTION that they dont have a liquor license, but you are welcome to BYO... I also call them for delivery all the time and they are fast! I was there for 5 De Mayo and had a great time. The also have a Jukebox so you can play your favorite Vicente Fernandez & RANCHERO music!! AiiiiYA-YAiiii

Pedí una sopa y era demasiado picante al grado de no poder comerla las enchiladas las hacen con salsa de adobo comes la mitad y ya estás ostigada de ese sabor y el precio no lo vale y aguantar el genio de esa señora q siempre está ahí mal servicio

I dont know why people are so ignorant!this place is AMAZING!food is GREAT! If you truly want MEXICAN food this is the spot.Im guessing people are used to eating Taco Bell and they assume thats.Mexican food umm hello thats GARBAGE! I recommend all of you to come and eat here!!prices are very cheap if you ask me!just because its a Mexican place doesnt mean food is going to be a $1.if thats the case go to Mcdonalds and do the dollar Menu!!love Mi Pequeno Mexico!!never get tired of this place!

Whether I eat in, take out, or have them deliver, the food is always fresh, hot and delicious. I agree that some of the older reviews are probably from people that dont know real Mexican. One of my favs is the Cemitas. One of the best sandwiches ever! If I want chips, Ill get the Chilaquiles. But, if you are looking for Nachos with processed and melted cheese-flavored sauce poured on a can of chili, go to a Taco Bell. In Kentucky.

I was extremely disappointed. I loooooooooooove mexican food!!! I was very happy with the location, the decoration is very mexican, very nicely done, but the food.... Tasteless is the word... very disappointing..... extremely disappointing....I was craving mexican food so bad, it made me pay my bill, and drive to Fairview. Although service was good, I went there for the food......

Called for a delivery about 8 blocks away in the middle of winter, the delivery guy calls me 30 min later lost, and in a completely different street, I call the restaurant and complain and when I tell them I dont want the food cuz its freezing outside and the guy is a mile away on foot the person on the phone gets angry and tells me not to call back anymore, stupid and rude.

queso fundido delicioso las cemitas el pan no estaba tan bueno pero que podemos decir le damos un 3 estrellas esperemos nuestra próxima visita sea mejor.
