A friend of mine suggested this place and boy was she right. The service is impeccable and the ban Chan plates were plenty. Prices of their BBQ were similar to the neighborhood so no surprise there. Not cheap but youre paying for quality meats and excellent service. The thick sliced pork belly was cooked to perfection. Just the right amount of fat and a pretty char. I was very pleased with the taste. The Galbi was also a stand out. These beef ribs were juicy, cooked medium (next time Ill ask for more rare) and flavorful. You can taste the beef and the tenderness of it made it easy to chew and keep on chowing down. I also ordered the bulgolgi but mainly for the kids. It was not as good as the Galbi flavor wise but still better than other places Ive tried. Appetizers we ordered as well were the seafood pancake and fried dumplings. Both were fresh and nicely crisp without the char flavor and you didnt even need the dumpling soy sauce. It was available nonetheless. This place was clean and had a very neat decor. Two grills cooking at once kept us entertained and busy eating. They dont skimp on food or service. I would totally come back again. Tip: doesnt hurt that they were featured on The Food Network and that its Michelin rated. Also doesnt hurt it was named top 50 restaurants to try. Ranked 33. Must try. BTW only street parking available or use the valet service as offered.

Everything was extremely flavorful and they also included two great sauces in there for me to try. The food is definitely more on the greasy side, no doubt about that, but I kind of knew that coming into this. I think it is possible to make the meal a little healthier by getting grilled chicken with maybe steamed vegetables but youre not really getting the full experience that way. There are also salads of course.

Fantastic Latin American food from an unassuming basement eatery. The food here is really amazing and very well priced. I love the Pernil pork shoulder, but even the baked chicken and rice and beans are great here. The new location is also much nicer. Be ready for a bit of a line though as people have discovered the great food here. Grab the $7 lunch special and be full all day.

In town for the weekend, found this little place hidden; very informal buffet style. The food was absolutely delicious and authentic, like my mamas. Its not just Cuban, its also Puertorrican & Dominican. It was worth the walk in freezing weather. If Im ever in this area again, I will eat there again.

Great food! They have a rotating menu for specials every day, plus their daily staples. Try to come here at least once a week. Update: So just had the pork for lunch today 9.12.16. Happiness in my belly!! Super moist and full of flavor.
