Ambiance was great, and rooftop patio made me want to love this place. But service and food were sub-par. Bartenders were green (didnt know how to make a Bourbon Smash; didnt ask what kind of Bourbon I wanted), although friendly and attentive. As for food, chef needs to find his way. Arancini were dense, and included chicken or some kind of meat in them which was unexpected; gnocchi were more like potatoe latkes that were thick / dense. And the Brussels sprouts--despite being very small--were undercooked. Hoping this is just early opening growing pains, but based on our first visit will need some major changes before going back.

Went here a few weeks after they opened. Food was ok, nothing stellar. For example, chicken was cooked well and very tender, but in desperate need of salt, and cedar plank salmon was just a piece of fish on a board, no interesting flavors going on there. Wine list contains bottles up to $700, yet two of their draft beers are Yuengling and Miller Lite, leaving you confused whether theyre going for a sports bar or upscale restaurant vibe(Im assuming they were shooting for the latter). Ill go back in a few months once outdoor seating is open and theyve had a chance to (hopefully) refine the menu a bit.

I first visited in February, and had an amazing experience - food, ambience, drinks, and service were top notch. Raved about it. Went back for dinner last night, and despite not being overly crowded, service was below average, my fries were cold and soggy (sent them back), the salad was wilted, and the rest of the food was average. Thinking of cancelling my upcoming work dinner reservation there.....I really love the potential this place has, so I do hope my experience last night was just an anomaly!

Was here for drinks a month and it was a pleasant atmosphere. Came back to try the food and they should change their name to the Town Tapas Bar because the portions here are ridiculously small. Never had an appetizer, dinner, and dessert AND left hungry until now... my wife and I both had pastas and they were childrens portions. For drinks this establishment is 5 stars. For food... 2 because its just not worth it.

The town is a great upscale bar. The crowd is a little more seasoned, but younger people shouldnt feel out of place. The food is great, but the prices reflect that. The drinks are priced very fairly, I think. Overall, a great place for happy hour, dinner, or I hear their Sunday brunch is awesome!

Terrible seats for dinner, Swivel chairs with a small appetizer table. No room to enjoy a dinner. Triple seafood appy enough to feed a small cat. Service, less than average. Totally disappointed.

Fabulous food, fabulous place. Now I know where to get NYC food and ambiance, at NJ prices...and great service. Have been twice and am a "foodie" who likes it done right...I found that with Town!
