I walked in for the first time, hoping to order shaped graduation cookies. They were very friendly, but said they had too many orders for that weekend, & couldnt take anymore for that kind of cookie. I had seen on their website that they suggested a weeks notice, & I had been hopeful, since it was less than a week till our party, but I knew it was a busy season. I let them know how disappointed I was, especially since they are the rare bakery I had found that is safe for my sons allergies. Then, the very helpful lady started to make suggestions for other things they could provide on such short notice. I couldnt get exactly what I wanted bcs my timing was off, but I left there satisfied that I had something fun & different - & a cake! Mostly, I was thrilled that they went out of their way to satisfy a new customer! Plus, for my son to have a bakery to go to, to freely choose anything that strikes his fancy - thats nut-free - is very exciting, so we will be back! After all, everything we ordered was DELICIOUS!!! Mini Whoopie Pies are amazing! Blondies are on point! Brownies have an amazing texture but could be more chocolatey. Pricey, whatever, they have a store front in Upper Montclair, NJ, they have to pay the bills some how. Plus the quality of their goods far surpasses any chain/grocery store etc. I stop there every time I visit the town.

Cupcakes are better than store-bought or most local bakeries but not really worth the price. Quality is slightly less than most popular cupcake places in NYC, though pricing is similar. If you are craving a better than average cupcake (and dont mind paying a bit extra), Little Daisy is a good pick.

We threw a farewell party last night for a faculty member. Someone was in charge of cake. He brought 1 chocolate and 1 vanilla from The Little Daisy Bake Shop. DELICIOUS! Reminds of the homemade cakes my mom baked in the 60s. yummy buttery icing!

Not bad. Front line staff are friendly and helpful, especially the teenagers. I thought the owner was a grump. Turns out shes just British. Brits always look like its about to rain.
