Two guests and I arrived at Foccacia Pizza & Pasta for the first time this past Monday night after several recommendations from friends. The place was easy to find and parking was accessible. Upon walking in, we were greeted with a friendly, smiling hostess, and a nicely decorated inside. Our waitress greeted us promptly upon sitting and asked for our drink order. At the time, there were maybe fifteen other people in the restaurant including the people seated at the bar. We ordered two waters, a Coke, and a pitcher of sangria (they only serve it in pitchers). She returned about ten minutes later with two waters and a soft drink that was definitely not Coke. It was described on the check later that night as "Bottomless Pepsi" - which is fine, but we would have appreciated being informed that they did not serve Coke. We put in our appetizer order, assuming that the sangria would be out soon. About another fifteen minutes later, she returned with our appetizer - the variety pack of chicken wings, which included four cajun, four teriyaki, four honey bbq, and four hot wings. She told us rather rudely the sangria had to be shared or it couldnt be served. That was strange, but we know it wasnt her fault- she doesnt make the rules. We okd it and ordered our food. I ordered stuffed shells (which comes with a house salad according to the menu), and the other two people in my party ordered the Texas burger and the small size pepperoni pizza. We did not receive bread or salad. The hot wings and the honey bbq were perfect. Personally, I would return just to have them again. However, the cajun wings tasted like biting straight into powder, and the teriyaki wings were VERY over-salted. Any other flavor in the four teriyaki wings was lost by the salt. She returned with the sangria, and we asked her to box our appetizer. She asked us to wait a moment, which we had no problem with; there was a large party walking into one of the nicely decorated party rooms, and we understood that she might be busy for a few minutes. The drink was great; the fruit inside seemed to be fresh-cut, and it was teeming with flavor. The pepperoni pizza was brought to us first by another waitress, also very overly-salted but more acceptably so seeing as pepperoni is a salty food. The crust was perfect; it would have been an amazing pizza if it hadnt been so salty. The other individual in my party and I waited patiently for ten more minutes before our dinners were delivered to us. The waitress left promptly without asking if we needed anything else or retrieving the box for our wings. We were also never offered refills on our water or "Bottomless Pepsi." At this point, the pepperoni pizza is nearly finished, but we get to work on the food. The Texas burger was okay. It wasnt very impressive, but it wasnt the worst burger wed ever had. My stuffed shells, however, were an entirely different story. They were severely under seasoned (a surprise, given how over-salted most of our food was) and three of the six shells had no cheese stuffing inside whatsoever. I will say that I was pleased with the homemade sauce, but regardless, the dish required a very good amount of the garlic salt conveniently located on the table. The stuffed shells that did have stuffing inside were fine once I added the garlic salt. Weve finished our entrees, and the appetizer plate is still sitting on our table with no box. We have not been offered drink refills. Megan, our waitress, has walked by our table several times without checking on us. Fifteen minutes later, our plates are cleared and a box is literally tossed onto our table. We box our food, and the waitress returns and again, TOSSES our bill onto our table. We were not offered dessert or coffee. She later apologized for the wait, saying she had a party that arrived shortly after us. Seemed to me like she just wanted to be friendly right before we left our tip, which was a generous 18% considering how poor the service was. Unsure whether we would return at this point.

This place is horrible. And I will explain why. I went here with a party of four on a Friday night, and we sat at our table. Our waitress came and asked us what we wanted for drink. We ordered our drinks, and 10 minutes later she comes back with the wrong drinks. We told her, and she seemed quite upset, as we werent sure why. About five minutes later, she came back with the right drinks. We are already 15 minutes in, and we just got our drinks correctly. Then, she asks us for our order. I ordered Ravioli, which I will get to later. She asked what type of salad i wanted, and I said Caesar. She said that it would be an extra $10 for the appetizer portion. I was appalled. I said fine, and she put it down. The rest of the people in my group ordered now. Then, 20 minutes later she came back with our main courses. The Ravioli was awful. Everyone else in my party of four said that their meal was awful. Then, 10 minutes later she comes back and asks us how it is. We all say, "Fine," but we didnt really mean it, as we wanted to say that it was awful but that would have been a bit rude to say directly to her. Then, she took our plates, and made us wait 15 minutes for our bill. As she became friendly when handing us the bill, we saw that it showed all of our salads on the bill! That was outrageous because she never gave us our salads! We asked, "Where are our salads and bread?" She said, "Oh, Im sorry, I must have forgotten them. Ill bring them right away." Right after our dinner? Really? Then, 10 minutes later she came back with the salads and the bread, and they were dry and looked like they had been made a while ago (maybe when they were supposed to be given to us). Then we pay, and again our waitress becomes all nice and friendly, in hope for a big tip. We only tipped her standard ammount, although, I thought it was so bad that no tip was necessary and that we needed to talk to the manages. Well, we did not, and we left. I would never go here ever again, as everything was horrible. Food, service, everything.

This place is not "Italian". Its one of the better examples of how chain restaurants are severely sub par. We ordered a large margarita pizza and garlic bread. The total was $20. We got there 10 minutes after ordering just like they said. The "large" pizza we got felt lighter than an average plain pizza from any decent pizzeria. The pizza never felt hot to begin with, and after taking the 5 minute drive home it was warm. The basil was brown and gross, and the tomatoes were nowhere near fresh. Pretty gross. The "garlic bread" was crappy italian bread with cheese thrown on top and melted in a rush. The bread was also soggy. Garlic was nowhere to be found. If the rest of the food is anything like our first experience there, I worry about the people giving this place positive reviews.

Not long ago the pizza and wings were the best!! Now a large pie is the size of a small pie and the topping are light!! The wings are fatty and under cooked! And the price of course has gone UP! Maybe because it was TOGO!?! But that should not matter. Also when I asked about why the pie is so small!? The manager was proud to have such a small large pie! WOW!!! Wont be back to Manville pizza and pasta. Dissatisfied customer & guest.
