I come here time and time again - for good reason. Im from Bergen County, but live in Manhattan now. I would be lying if I told you that I have never taken a train to Fair Lawn, NJ from Penn Station just to walk to Green Dragon, eat my fill in sushi, and head back to NYC. Im seriously not kidding. Green Dragon has plenty of rolls/entrees that you would expect, and I have tasted their tried and true offerings. They are fantastic, hands down. The special house rolls, though, are the cream of the crop. Try the Green Dragon House roll (spicy tuna), The White Out roll (spicy salmon), Super Rainbow (all of the fish), Pink Lady (spicy crab), & Empire Dream (shrimp tempura). I may have tried them all at this point, and the only thing I havent liked is the Yummy sauce that is served on some of the rolls - but that is just preference. The sauce in question is sweet, and I prefer sushi without the sugar. When you arrive, you will be greeted with crunchy noodles in duck sauce. These noodles are addicting, and I bet you will ask for another helping! (No shame - I do it every time). If you call, you can make a reservation, and they are generally busy on weekends, although I have never waited longer than about 15 minutes. The waitstaff is quick and efficient and everyone is friendly. The food is so good, though, that everything else could be terrible and I would still come! Enjoy, and share your experience with your server - they are a relatively new place and are always welcoming of feedback. Happy sushi-ing!

Decent sushi and Chinese food. Ive done both dine-in and take out at this place and each time it has been very tasty and fresh. The prices are not bad at all. My main critique is that I feel that more effort couldve been put in to design the interior of this place. It seems to me that they basically only added a sushi bar to the last restaurant that was in this location but kept everything else the same. Otherwise, great service and food.

Green Dragon reminds me of Chinese restaurants that also sell Japanese cuisine, but dont quite hit the mark with it. The hibachi, for example, leaves some to be desired. The meals (including sushi) sometimes suffer from inconsistency in preparation and freshness. And with so many other sushi & Japanese places around, I cant fully recommend green dragon for those seeking Japanese. For Chinese though, its a good option for the area.

Tried this place out yesterday on December 28,2015 with a friend. Started off with some California rolls and gyoza, it was pretty good. Next we tried the vegetable lo mein, it was the best I ever had and ended with the steak and shrimp hibachi. Thats where it ended WRONG! When I got The hibachi it was NOT hibachi, it was more of a steamed steak with shrimp, it also had a fishy weird taste to it. Overall it was alright.

If youre interested in trying a new sushi place, I would highly recommend Green Dragon. The sushi here is fresh and well prepared. Although the non-sushi entries didnt blow me away, their sushi can go toe to toe with a lot of the other great sushi places Ive been to in the area - very fresh! The staff is also very polite. The parking might be a little cramped from time to time, but Ive never had trouble finding a spot.

Exceeded expectations - better than the great sushi restaurants in Ridgewood. Very clean. very friendly, although theyve only been open 5 days, youd never guess it. Food was great and serving sizes were solid. The presentation was amazing as well(although it doesnt take much to get us excited about food). We were excited to see that they were moving into this spot because we havent found an Asian food place that we both enjoyed. So far so good with Green Dragon. I cant wait to try a few other dishes.

Great place with friendly and nice staff. Food is great, I specifically prefer chicken teriyaki and some rolls. It is fast to get to go order and pleasant to spend an evening here. The restaurant is kids friendly, they even have special chopsticks for them tied at the top. The place is not big inside so on Friday evening it is full.

Green Dragon may very well be one of the bargains in Fair Lawn. It offers excellent value for the quality of food on offer along with brisk and friendly service and a convenient location near the Radburn train station. I particularly recommend the lunch special menu - both your stomach and your wallet will approve!

Great location, amazing menu, and great staff! You can tell they take pride in their quality and the food is delicious! Would highly recommend this place to anyone who has never been there. Whats even nicer is they remember your name and make you feel very welcomed! If I could give 6 stars I would!

The sushi is pretty good. It is not overly amazing, but it is the average tasty sushi. I recommend the Super Rainbow Roll, it tasted great and I liked the different types of fish. Also, they have very good candy at the entrance. Overall, Green Dragon resturant gets 4 stars from me.

Only ate sushi but they serve other meals as well. The sushi was really good. It was fresh. The eroma and atmosphere was nice as well. If youre going to get the sushi try the house special, "green dragon."
