One of the best restaurants Ive even been..Great attention and services...is an excellent fine restaurants where they make you feel comfortable and appreciated as a client...at the beginning we walked in and were so well received that we thought we wouldnt be able to afford such great restaurant with such attention..It was 4 of us we got 1 appetiser 4 entries and our bill was only $120 ..we also got 2 deserts: a cappuccino and a chocolate musse they brought me the cappuccino first. they offer sugar i said yes.but for some reason the sugar and the other desert took longer so like 10 more minutes later they came offered me a fresh cappuccino and the sugar and the manager himself brought the other dessert..he politely apologised for the waiting and said that the deserts were on him..and note that we never complaint directly about the waiting...I would recommend it to anyone and I am definitely going there again

The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. My wife and I ordered a porterhouse for two (medium rare of course) with creamed spinach, and it was simply out of this world. We have eaten at some amazing steakhouses in NYC, and this steak here is on par with the best that I have ever tasted. The creamed spinach was also great. Additionally, the service was excellent and our server was extremely helpful and friendly. We had previously resided in Englewood for several years and were very sad to see the Smoke Chophouse close, since it was such a unique place and the best steakhouse in NJ. I didnt think that they would ever reopen, and thus I am absolutely thrilled that the Smoke Chophouse has been reincarnated in Sofia. If possible, I think Sofia is even better than the Smoke Chophouse was. In conclusion, this place is a gem and hopefully will be around for years to come.

Ive been at this place several times , food and service was always excellent. Best caipirinha north of the equator by the way. Last time we were there I was a bit disappointed with the food. The Bucatini allAmatriciana was not made with guanciale and tasted nothing like this very simple but classical dish should,and, no pecorino romano was offered, instead, when asked for cheese, they brought some variety of parmesan cheese that was not a reggianno or even a grana padano. I asked if there was a different chef in the kitchen, they said no. The bone in rib eye was also inconsistent with the last 4 or 5 times Ive had there before. Something was not right, Ill try them again and hope for the same food experience Ive had in the recent past .If you live in the area and dont want to drive to the city, this is by far your best option if looking for a similar all around experience.

My wife and I recently held our reception here in the Garden Room for about 40 guests. We couldnt have wished for a more perfect experience. The staff catered to all of our needs and went far beyond what they were required to do. They were very professional, organized, and kept me informed throughout the whole event. The most important aspect in regards to having a wedding reception in a restaurant is the food, which greatly exceeded all of our guests expectations. My wife and I truly felt as though we were the most important individuals in the building. We had such an amazing time and recommend this establishment to anyone, even if its just for dinner.

Let me just get this outta the way, this place is awesome. Went on a Wed night. Dry Aged 16oz filet mignon for everyone at the table with sides. Cigars to add to taste. Scotch to take it all down. One of the few places you can still sit down have a steak and a cigar. My service was excellent, complimentary valet made the night smooth too. Anyone making reviews who dont smoke cigars should not comment on this place because you just wouldnt understand. The ventilation was really good so even if you dont smoke you can count on a great steak without having to cross the bridge. Going back soon, thanks.

Very Unpleasant experience. When we arrived. there was a riot of protesters outside. The restaurant is located next to an abortion clinic. After Dealing with a lot of trash outside, we entered the restaurant, which was not much of a better experience. The food was presented sloppy and very small portions. Not sure why they consider themselves an Italian steakhouse when nothing about the restaurant is Italian. The staff is very unprofessional. Just not a place you would go to for an upscale experience

Extremely unpleasant experience, never returning again. And extremely odd and creepy waiter kept staring at me while as I was eating and didnt even mind to turn away. I ordered the octopus, and as soon as I put it in my mouth, a potent spoiled and rotten taste is expressed. I received rotten food, and felt insecure while there. Too expensive and odd service. Zero stars. Every time i drive past this place I feel forced to display the middle finger

Very nice ambiance, food was very good, but you want to visit Devin if your seated at a table. He will definitely make your experience memorable. One of the only places where you can get a solid cocktail in NJ without having to go across the river. At the you definitely need to see Romi, she makes consistent well balanced cocktail. Definitely a great place to go.

8:15 reservation... Seated at 9... Ordered straight away (have kids with us)...food at 9:40. Food is good...But clearly have service issues. Perhaps I just had a comedy of errors. Not coming back. Oh and fire alarm went off...Whatever. Update...Manager comped drinks and some of the food. So they recognized and addressed...

Oh my dear goodness was the steak that good! The porterhouse melted! Do yourself a favor and get a chopped salad to start your tastebuds, then follow it with a porterhouse for two. Service was amazing! The valet was ever nice. This was truly an amazing experience and I did not expect an NJ steakhouse to be this good.

Went for a business dinner - very good apps and excellent sides; a couple of our steaks were a bit over-cooked (but still very tasty - not enough that we wanted to talk to anyone about it), and a very nice selection at the bar! Deserts were underwhelming. Nice atmosphere - would definitely come back to!

Great place to come to eat steak and once done go downstairs for cigars, I changed my diet about 1 month ago to a more fat diet with veggies and this was perfect, steak was well done at top but medium rare just like in the pic, once you eat it #fogetaboutit #meatlife #slaming #GizzyCredit

Best Steak place in Englewood. Dont let the "smoke" part of the name scare you off, this is just a class steak restaurant (have eaten here 3 times and havent smelled/see people smoking). They know how to cook a steak perfectly and their sides are in very generous portions.

Was ok not more than that. The waiting time for the food to arrive was way too long. It took over an hour to get our food from when we placed the order. It is also very loud and it was hard to hear the person next to me when we were talking.
