We just moved here and I was so excited to have a thai place near by. Dined in once, the atmosphere is nice and the food satisfied my desire for thai food. Even ordered take out 2 times and the last time I did I ordered pad see iew, and I asked for chicken with that but they gave me beef (it comes with your choice of meat). When I called to tell them she was like "You said beef" and I said "nooo you asked me what I wanted and I told you chicken". She doubted me at first and then apologize but Im sorry does not give me the correct meal I paid $10.70 for. I worked at a restaurant for 7 years and if you mess up a customers order you make sure they are happy with your service the next time. They did nothing like that. Too bad they dont work as hard on their customer service like they did decorating the inside of this place. Sure maybe its nice but dont judge the service by how nice a place looks. Youre better off going to Wondees in Hackensack, NJ. They are a small place but they are ALWAYS friendly and the food is AMAZING not to mention $2-3 cheaper per dish than this place. They are always packed every time we go in there and thats the only Thai place well be going from now on!

I dont even know where to start with this place. First off the noise level was no where near quiet. It was very noisy and i was not able to have a nice sit down dinner. After being seated for almost 10 minutes, I ended up getting menus on my own. Through the whole time i was there, 4 different waiters came by my table. I was given appetizers that another table ordered and when calling for a waiter, the girl gave me an attitude and plain ignored me! The food was somewhat flavorless. It took 15 minutes just to get a refill on my drink. The worst part of it all is when it was time to pay my bill, the total was twice the amount i anticipated it to be because they automatically added 18% gratuity and it was JUST four of us!!!! I ended up paying $25 in tips for getting little to no service. Just talking about this place makes me disgusted. I am a foodie and this by far is the WORST dining experience I ever had. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY IN THIS PLACE.

Ive eaten here three times now, expecting the food to be different (chief changes, etc).. but to my disappointment, its always the same plain watered down food.. by that I mean liquidy with little infused flavor. I wouldnt order the stir-fried or the Pad King, Pad Gra-Pow, or Pad Ped Pucks. The service is very friendly and the ambiance of the place is great. I am very disappointed in Ploi Thai. This is my first time ordering from them, I ordered two lunch specials and requested that both of them to be VEGETARIAN, since I and my boyfriend do not eat meat. They said that is ok. But when I got the order, both lunches and soups had chicken in them. So either that dont listen or they dont care. Either way, my first time eating here will also be my last.

I had the opportunity to visit Ploi Rest. for both lunch and dinner a week apart, while on vacation. The shrimp dish at lunch was delicious and the jasmine rice was cooked just right. At dinner we enjoyed chicken curry and the veggies were fresh and crisp. Also the staff were very sweet and made the whole Thai dining experience fun. I highly recommend Ploi either lunch or dinner.

I have eaten a number of times at this restaurant and have had positive experiences each time. I have found the food to be very good each time and the service has been good as well. In addition, the value is very good and BYOB. I would recommend this restaurant and continue to patronize. I also have eaten at a number of Thai restaurants throughout the US.

This place is ok. Ive had better. Their soups are good and the ambience is particularly lovely. We went in (just the 2 of us) with a Yelp deal of $20 for $40, however, i was disappointed to see the check with a mandatory gratuity of 15% and tax. I saw a reviewer on Yelp who went in with a Groupon deal and had the same experience. BEWARE!

Awesome!! Orderd via GrubHub. I loved the steam dumplings, loved the chicken satay with peanut sauce... loved the Ba-Mee Ruam Pak and the Ploi Noodle. Fresh and delicious! Nice customer service too. A bit on the pricey side but I feel that I am getting quality. Recommend this place. Delicious!

I stopped by for lunch and ordered one of their specials. The spring roll was oily the soup was blend and the pad thai with shrimp stink. On the top of that they charged me $2.00 for a glass of tap water. What are these people thinking!? Outrageous! Don’t waist your time and money to go there.

We ordered delivery - a large dumpling soup and an order of yellow curry. The yellow curry was OK if a little skimpy on the chicken. But the dumpling soup was mostly lettuce with two dumplings. Not large dumplings mind you. Probably wont order from here in the future.

Its actually really tasty and I feel the food is well made. It has a good atmosphere and is good for a date or the first time to try thai. I just find it expensive though (based on comparision) and sadly I dont really have a reason to go back because of that.

They are very friendly, the service is always quick, even delivery. The restaurant is appropriately decorated, not overdone, and very quaint. Its small but the tables are spread far enough apart where you have your own "space" to enjoy the fantastic food.

Pretty big restaurant with a simple but extensive menu. The food is delicious, inexpensive, and the servings are generous. Service could be a bit better - our first course came out 7 minutes before the last one and we were only 3 ppl.

At first time when I got a dinner . The order came slowly we didnt like it. In addition, server serve wrong order what happened ah. so its disappointment to eat dinner . Whats going on? I wont come back this restaurant again.

my favorite place for Thai food in NJ! i love their curries! food is really good, the atmosphere of the place is very VERY nice, not loud and with annoying music as on other places, and the service is always amazing..

This modern style Thai restaurant is very nice inside and the food was pretty good. I do wish the portions were a little larger for the money. All in all Ploi Thai is worth checking out.

Really great green curry - everything Ive ordered has been fresh and wonderfully spiced. On par with Thai in Atlanta, LA, London. Delivery is friendly and lightening fast.
