Boneless spare ribs lunch special with pork fried rice & hot & sour soup. ($6.37 with tax) I break boneless spare ribs from different restaurants into 3 categories: heavily sauced & burnt in with a very sweet taste (my personal favorite), fairly blend with hardly any sauce (usually a bit bitter, but still eatable), and the worst - heavily sauced with a wet greasy feel & a medicine (robitussin-like) taste. The ribs at Chopstix King would most likely go into the second category, but much better than most other chinese restaurants which use this style of cooking them. Pork fried rice had very big pieces of pork & because of that the amount was a bit limited. The combo came in a plastic tupperware-style container, but had many unexpected fillers: lettuce on the bottom of the ribs (which actually made the meal a bit more enjoyable & healthy, but will turn some people off) & a container of duck sauce placed right in there with the ribs & rice - it obviously couldve been put on the outside to make more space for the main dish. Hot & sour soup was very good I must admit. Not too sour like some, plenty spicy & not as jelly as some (which once you get past a certain point turns out disguisting). So far, the best hot & sour soup ive tried in the milltown/east brunswick area.

I absolutely love the service and food here. I used to live in NY and every time I went to a Chinese restaurant I couldnt understand anything they said and I think they thought likewise of me. Most of the time they got my order wrong but I continued going because it was the only place in the area that had semi-good food. When I moved to East Brunswick I tried this place and I was blown away. Decor is nice and the service was off the charts. The people up front are actually understandable!!! Lots of people have complained about the extra $1 payment for using credit cards but honestly I think that its a liability thing. Anybody could take someones card and give the numbers and get a free meal. And its only a dollar anyway. Personally I dont mind. Dine-in serviced is excellent with attentive servers and the owner is such a sweet-heart. Here the customer is not just treated as a customer. They are treated like family. <3

Its cute inside. They have a few fish tanks around the place while you wait. It had a nice restaurant feel, but its small and cozy. It was very clean and the hostess was very pleasant. The food was a 15 minute wait for a $40 order which isnt that long. I had a nice chat with one of their regular customers. He was raving about them to me. The food itself was awesome. It wasnt just slosh thrown together it was food. Good, fill you up, and I dont feel sick afterward food. Honestly, I wish I lived closer. Their sweet and sour chicken was a little soggy, but I believe I let it sit too long. And it was like real breading. Not just a usual crispy batter. It was very tasty even soggy.

I found their ad on a local magazine and wanted to try them. Their schedule is 11 am to 10 pm and I ordered my food at 9:25 pm. The order taker was not happy since I wanted to use a coupon and she also tried to charge me extra $1 because I wanted to pay by credit card. I was told that it will take 30 minutes for me to receive the food. It has been more than 1 hour and I still didnt get anything!!! I dont know how the food will taste like but their service is definitely terrible.

I have eaten at EB Chinese or formally Chopsticks King within the last 2 years and found them only marginally acceptable. I decided to stop in for lunch to see if they have improved. I ordered the special of chicken in garlic sauce, which was cloyingly sweet, which overpowered everything, nothing spicey or different here. The accompaning scoop of fried rice was mushy and tasteless. To their credit the chicken was fresh and cooked perfectly. Top 10 - I dont think so

In my opinion, one of best Chinese food restaurants in East Brunswick. Ive tried most of Chinese restaurants and this restaurant has been consistent. Ive had many different dishes and never been disappointed. From their fried rice, noodle dishes, chef specials, to the diet menu it has all been good.

I love this place! The food is good and freshly made. The menu is pretty extensive too, I really like how they have an authentic Chinese food portion of the menu. The staff are all very nice, especially the owner who is always so accommodating. My favorite Chinese place hands down.

This place doesnt look like much from the outside, but I can tell you that in 10 years, Ive never had a bad meal here. The food tastes "good" and comes out lightning quick. Its not going to blow your doors off, but its the model of consistency.

I love EB Chinese. Its definitely the best Chinese place in East Brunswick and out of all of the surrounding towns. The food is great, they dont use any MSG and the servers are always pleasant. If you ever ge the chance, go here.

i ordered from here and the food arrived an hour late. the food cost $8.77 and all i had was a $10, then the delivery guy said "you know you should tip sometime" and ran away
