How do I begin to tell you how terrible my experience here was, Came in on the Sunday when it wasnt crowded Ordered the buratta appetizer and a personal pizza to start. The buratta came out fast and was very good but thats where are the positives end. The pizza took 54 minutes to arrive and we specified no pancetta because my daughter is a vegetarian so after waiting all this time the pizza comes out with the pancetta on it. The waiter says he will take it off the bill and give us another one to go on the house, because our dinners are now ready. This was fine ,now the dinners .My daughter ordered gnocchi with pesto sauce and fresh mozzarella and it was delivered to our table ice cold. I informed the waiter that her food was cold and he said he would make her a new one. I ordered veal Damaro which was supposed to consist of veal,eggplant,broccoli rabe ,sausage and mozzarella,the eggplant was not in the dish at all. Plus the mozzarella dried out overcooked and the dish was overall terrible. The waiter arrived shortly with the new dish of food for my daughter which was nothing but the same dish he took back to the kitchen and they microwaved it .It was hot on the outside and still cold on the inside and tasteless. The waiter was nice and accommodating but the food was terrible the kitchen was slow. I had heard many good things about this place and was looking forward to eating here. Maybe because it was Sunday afternoon they had a different Chef than normal? I can only surmise because this food was awful at best!

I was on my motorcycle one night a few months ago when I encountered a issue with the bike and had to pull over. I pulled into the parking lot of Albivi Brick Oven. I went inside, asked to use the phone to call someone as my cell had no reception in the area. The owner, Vinny was there, he let me use the phone to call long distance , even though the restaurant was closed. ( This was later at night). Vinny then let me stay in his restaurant, got me some food, and even offered to get me a ride home if I needed one ( I lived about an hour away) . Vinny then let me keep my motorcycle at his restaurant overnight, even clearing out a shed in the back so I could put the bike in there for the night. ( This was all after 1100 pm and the restaurant was closed.). I was completely taken aback by the generosity of Vinny and his staff , he went above and beyond what anyone would normally do. The food I had there was EXELLENT also ! I now will go back regularly with my family to enjoy the great food, nice atmosphere, and to patronize a business owned by a great guy and human being that actually cares about people ! Five stars !

I have eaten at Albivis a few times, and the food is consistently good but there are some issues with the whole package.. The seating arrangements are horrible, the booths are only comfortable for two people. If you go there with a party of 5 or more they seat you in crammed 1/2 booth 1/2 table seats that servers constantly bump into you as well as the customers behind you. Its hard to rationalize paying good money for decent food, to be uncomfortable all night. The next problem there is the staff. Some are really nice and some are horrible, Good luck its a 50/50 shot! If you happen to get Vinny there you will do good, he is the only server so far that we have had that A. has a personality B.Knows how to do his job! Overall I give a 3 because their food is pretty good but they need to work on their staff and their atmosphere. Just because something looks pretty doesnt mean it works and is comfortable for the guest!

I went here a week ago with my husband and son. The service was bad, it was like they had a bunch of 16 yr old surley, rude highschoolers waiting tables. The waitress Alician or Alicia or Alice was so rude! She rolled her eyes at us when we asked for extra salad dressing! Her voice was so low we had to ask her to repeat herself often. ANd to top it off I got food poisining from the Chicken Pazzo dish! I was very sick all night. My husbands pasta was mushy. And all the food was over-priced. The only good thing wsas the pizza. I will never go here again and advise others to stay away. If my son had the chicken instead of pizza i would be calling my lawyer instead of my doctor!

My family has been going to Albivi since 2007 and we love it there!! We also order take out. Albivi has a great atmosphere and very nice accommodating staff! I like that they have something on the menu for everyone! Their steak dinners are my personal favorite besides their brick oven pizza. The patio area is also my favorite place to be seated. I dont find Albivi to be pricey at all! It does get noisy but thats part of the great atmosphere! Everyone around you is having a great time! I recommend everyone try Albivi and see for yourself!

Im really lucky to be living a few blocks away from this restaurant. Working dedicated owner, nice staff that is really accommodating and professional, and yes, great food! My wife gets linguini with little necks in a white sauce from every trustworthy restaurant, we just left and she said it was the best she ever had. I had the fettuccini boscaiola which was insanely good. And we started with the fried calamari with goat cheese and peppers dressed with a balsamic glaze. Crazy good!

Not only is the place beautifully decorated inside, they have a lovely dining patio which is great on a seasonable day/night. The owner, Vinnie, is a very gracious man, who wants to ensure that your experience there is a good one. I loved their food, and the pizza is the best I ever ate! Im a native Jersey girl who now lives down South in NC, and the one thing I miss the most about NJ is Albivis!! Keep up the great work, Vinnie!

It really honestly was the best Italian restaurant Ive been to. Beautifully and tastefully appointed, very clean, professional staff, quick service, great presentation, but most importantly, it was obvious that our food was prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. I am very critical of every place I dine and I usually tear them apart in my head as Im eating lol. But I was extremely satisfied at Albivis.

My family frequents Albivis often and the food is always fresh and delicious. The menu is very diverse so there is something for everyone whether the kids want pizza, I want a salad or my husband wants steak. It is a great family atmosphere and I recommend it to everyone I know! What makes this place most special is the outdoor patio. It is so beautiful and creates a unique dining experience.

I am disabled and went in for lunch with my service dog. The person at the front of the restaurant scowled at the dog and informed me that I would have to sit in the back corner or outside because he had customers. Apparently being disabled means I am not a real customer. He made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable so we left without eating. It was a humiliating experience.
