MEDIOCRE AT BEST. Always walked by this place and it looked good. Finally got a chance to stop by and my wife and I were pretty disappointed. Ordered a Guinness that had way too much head on it. For $6 I would think they could at least pour it correctly. The "Jumbo Wings" are not jumbo by any means. They are typical frozen wings that are deep fried (possibly more than once- very very dry) and had wing sauce dumped on them. No breading, nothing special, and very small. Possibly the worst wings Ive had. We both ordered a salads and again nothing special. The "grilled chicken" tasted like the kind you get from the super market thats already cooked in the prepared food section and was cold. For a $70 (with tip) dinner that consisted of salads, 1 appetizer, and 3 beers I would think it should be much better. So many other restaurants in the area that are much better for the same or lesser price. I recommend American Heritage, Rattlesnake Cafe, and for the best wings EVER go to Hennessys in Morristown. They can also pour a Guinness correctly there.

The decor is nice and it looks like an upscale place. However, what we ordered from the menu is not what came out. We started with crab cakes and sliders. We got two sliders that were mostly bun. The crab cakes were hickey pucks and generally flavorless. The filet mignon wrap was supposed to have peppers and mushrooms. The actual wrap came with none of that. My wife got the fish and chips. The chips were excellent but the fish was soggy and a little cold inside. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is nice. The quality to price ratio was way off. We may have gone in at an off time but we were not impressed.

I would have given a better review had I done this before. Basically the waitress was not on the table, I had to go to the bar tender for beer who didnt want to do it, and pushed the waitress too, very bad service. In the summer with the outdoor patio it was not bad, inside in the cooler weather l, pretty bad... I dont think they are very customer focused and are very tip focused, although this should coincide, at this place it does not

Very nice quiet place to get a good meal with reasonable prices. The wait staff was pleasant and often asked if we needed something. The food is always good and of dependable quality. They have seating out front too which is a nice change if you want that too. We often go there when in doubt where to go because we always find something we really like either on the regular menu or their very good special selections for that day.

Best burgers in the state of New Jersey, friendly, attentive fast service, super fun menue, side orders all really good and well presented. Went recently and Second Half is 100% on our list of favorite places. If you want a great steak or burger, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this nice bar to anyone.

Ive never been disappointed with the food here. Every plate has been delicious. They have a good Bloody Mary and nice beers. The staff has always been friendly. The prices are fair. Its a cozy lunch-date kind of place. I never feel rushed out. Everything is clean including the bathroom.

Your bartender immediately profiled me and became annoyed and rude. I will not spend my money where I feel unwelcome. Denville is my home. I grew up here and I dont tolerate surely bartenders. I took my money to Thatchers.

Resurrected from the original location which burned down on Route 53, the new location is a great place to grab a pint in town. Not much on the menu for vegetarians, but the staff are very friendly.

Overpriced. By the numbers cuisine. With this plaza, parking is extremely scarce with zero room for expansion. So The Second Half hired a person to cone off over 2/3rds of the lot. Stupid.
