The food tasted good but I wont be going back, and neither should you if you have any special dietary restrictions. My daughter has a serious (sometimes anaphylactic) dairy allergy and they assured us the sauce was dairy-free. When it came, it looked light to me so we asked again and they said, yes, its definitely dairy-free. She ate about 1/4 of it and said her mouth was feeling itchy and she was thinking there must be dairy in there. We asked yet again, and they went to triple-check, then came out and announced, "theres just a touch of cream." Then, when they re-did it with just garlic and olive oil, they used the same bowl (we saw some of the sauce on there that they hadnt completely washed off.). They did do it a third time. Also, to boot, Im gluten-free for medical reasons (celiac) and ordered gluten-free pasta and ate about half. About an hour later, I got a terrible stomach ache and ended up throwing up twice (and I almost never throw up)-- must have been some kind of contamination. Zero for two. Theyre very nice people and good cooks, but I dont think they understand allergies.

Definitely, without a doubt, one of Cresskills top restaurant. I have eaten there quite a few times since it opened. The food quality has been consistently excellent. The owner and staff make you feel like you are part of the family. The service is impeccable. This is my go to choice in town for any special event. I have eaten many things from the standard menu - and the chef is happy to create a unique and custom dish for you, should you desire. I love their steaks, spaghetti bolognese, their fish and their scallops. I have asked them to custom create some sauces for me, and they have been wonderful. It is BYO, so you definitely do not get killed on the wine costs.

what a find. a local italian restaurant with excellent food, a full bar and nice service. our salads were excellent (mixed green salad; beet salad) and we went out on a limb and my wife had the filet mignon on the bone (excellent); i had the veal chop (excellent) and my mom had a filleted bronzino (excellent). the side of pasta was delicious. cap it off with tea and espresso + lemon cake and lemon sorbet = a delicious meal. sure to go back.
