If youre too lazy to read this let me make it short: Food sucked and the waitresses were weirdos. Today was my last night in Cape May on a lovely vacation with my boyfriend. We were unsure of were to eat and did a quick Google search. You may have found yourself in a similar situation, reader. Heres exactly what we ordered and why it was wrong. Iron Pier Roll $20 Six peices of sushi I probably could have recreated at shoprite. Lollipop wings $18 Chicken wings with all the good parts cut off. Soft-shell crab $18 Felt like eatting a fishy mop, made my boyfriend gag. Mussels $18 Eh. Its hard to mess up Mussels. Not only was the food mediocre at best the service was strange we had two waitresses who seemed just as confused as we were. They checked on us constantly, and awkwardly laughed whenever we asked for things. They served us a bowl of popcorn, I guess kinda like A NORMAL RESTURANT would serve bread, and asked us twice if wed like them to take it away even though we were eatting it. The popcorn was also a little stale tasting but it was free so it didnt make me too mad. On the walk back to our hotel my poor boyfriend made me buy him pizza because he left feeling hungry sick and annoyed. Also the prices were ridiculous. I would suggest restaurants like Yb or Georges place.

Insulting portions and an even more appalling price!!!! This place has always been one of our favorite locations for the previous restaurants that have come and gone. So we were looking forward to our meal. Unfortunately it was quite a disappointment. Heres the rundown of what we ordered and what the problems were. I will preface the review by stating that overall the food was yummy but way overpriced and the tiniest portions ever. 1. Philly Cheese steak dumplings = $9 for two tiny dumplings. Not terrible but certainly not worth $4.50 per tiny dumpling. 2. Scallops Entree = OMG this was the most insulting part of the meal. $31 for 4 tiny scallops with about a 1/8th of a cup of corn salsa type thing. So not worth it and way overpriced. 3. Lamb chops= $29 for 4 lamb chops. Actually the best part of the meal but its advertised as being served with a butternut squash hash this was absolutely ridiculous. It was literally a tablespoon of hash pit into a tiny "solo" cup sauce container that you typically see being used for salad dressing. Way overpriced! 4. Finally we had the peanut butter dome. Very yummy and the only thing that wasnt overpriced. Such a dissapointment. Sorry Iron Pier, we will not be coming back.

Had dinner there last night and the menu was original and unique. Something there for all, especially those with an adventurous streak. I had the scallop dish with avocado and roasted corn, very very good! Also the Buccata salad with beets, fruit, water cress, and a basamic fig reduction to die for. Dessert: Bannana Foster Crem Brule that was excellent! My date started with the Iron Spike mixed drink which she raved about (even had a second). Her entree was the Bucatini with poached lobster, asparagus, califlower, and tomatoes on top of pasta with a lemon butter sauce which was excellent. We shared the Truffle fries which were tasty and addictive. For dessert my date had the Soft Pretzel Bread Pudding which she raved about. Their service was friendly and professional, and we were seated with a view overlooking the beach and ocean. A night to remember!!

We went to Iron pier craft house in cape may to celebrate my daughters engagement and when we walked in the female bartender on Sunday night was extremely rude and condescending to our family. She yelled out we dont serve kids here! When we told her our daughter who was there to celebrate her engagement was of age she basically called us liars and never even asked for id, very upsetting to us. Not to ruin our celebration we took a table inside - food was very good and our server was great which at least made up for the horrible way we were made to feel on arrival,

Great views of the beach and ocean from the 2nd floor dinning area. We went there for dinner on night with our toddler. The staff was very accommodating and provided drawing supplies for her along with kids menu. The food we ordered was excellent but did arrive a bit late even though we got there before the dinner rush. Buy the quality made up for the delay. This place does fill up quickly so keep that in mind. They had great selection of local beers which I enjoyed very much. Overall we had a great experience.

Great sushi! I think next time well stick to sushi. Great wait staff, gorgeous view, excellent beer, cocktail, and wine selection! The only reason I cant give it 5 stars is because some of the entrees/share plates are not enough food for the price you pay. Definitely recommend the sushi, we did the out of control roll and the golden salmon, delish!

We ate dinner there last night and had a very good experience. The beer menu was good and the food menu was eclectic in a good way; hummus plate, kobi sliders, soft pretzel, and fries. Staff was nice and service was good. The atmosphere was funky including LPs playing on the turntable. Well be back.

We have been here twice so far, and everything has been amazing. Great local craft beer selection. Staff is very friendly. Live entertainment both times we were there. Top that off with delicious food and a view like no other establishment in Cape May ..

Best kept secret? Maybe. Ive heard a few diners say they dont want to review this place because they dont want it to get too crowded. Beautiful views. Delicious sushi. And hard working bartenders. My only complaint is that the bar is so small.
