10:35pm My buddy and I get to this place and go on in to grab a table for 4. I walk in and stand in front of the counter thats just 2 ft. from the entrance. I was expecting to be greeted and maybe qued for a table, but no one was in sight. A employee approached the counter where i was patiently waiting but was obviously busy. So I thought maybe it isnt her job to tell us where to sit. A while passes and still no one greeted or asked us how many people are going to sit at the table. My other two friends arrive and we still werent seated. They asked if i wanted to go somewhere else. I told them no it might just be that they are very busy, being very patient i waited somemore. Finally, I stopped an employee and explained the situation. She seemed aggitated and said hold on as she walked away from us. My friend gave me a look and i said " just a bit longer." Finally the woman i previously spoke to handed me menús and instucted me to follow her. She sat us down and i was excited. We all chose what we wanted, had a few laughs, but no one came to take our order. A while later the same lady asked us if anyone has taken our orders, I told her no, She shook her head, and said "hold on ill be back to take it." At that point all my patience was used up(that says alot). Me and my buddies got up, walked out, and head to the Diner near by. Was really excited to try this place out. It was unfortunate that the staff was either too busy or just didnt care enough. I can say that it is a decent place to stand in. Although it is a bit cramp. Music was ok and they had nice televisions.

Food was very good. Service was terrible. Took a long time for food to come out even though the place was basically empty. Servers were more concerned about chatting with coworkers than serving customers. Server had to return to table more than once to double check that food order was correct because they did not write it down the first time. Drink orders needed to be repeated several times. Appetizers for group were brought out and we had to ask for appetizer plates. Server barely returned to table to check on drinks or if guests needed anything. Manager came to ask how everything was (without initially identifying himself as the manager) and we were honest about our experience. When we asked for the check, server brought it out and when a specific guest asked for the check she leaned over the table instead of walking around the table. When guest reached for check, server said "Can you please not snatch the book from me because youre being rude!" We can only assume that the manager had spoken with her about our complaint which is also unprofessional of him. When she brought the check back, she just dropped it on the table and said nothing to us as we exited. Calling customers rude and the unprofessionalism we experienced will definitely not be bringing us back to this restaurant.

Its a shame one of the girls is on drugs. I thought they kicked all of them last year, but I guess not. I do not recommend this location though. I tried it last year twice, and this year twice. This is the lowest end of the totem pole of Tilted Kilts. The owners own three locations yet they chose to place this bar here, along with hiring managers that are sexually attracted to may-as-well-be underage girls. I see how they look at them I hope the managers dont personally train their girls though and the blind just lead the blind because that would be embarrassing. They all run like chickens with their head cut off during a rush. Always out of things, but that has always been an issue since the beginning. Most waitress staff is rude, but I dont really mind that honestly. My guess is they arent making enough money since one girl complained about her income being too slow so they dread being there. By the time the night is over they look miserable. The second they leave your table they look miserable. The comparisons of this Kilt and others are just crazy, it feels tacky. Desperate even, the giant sign on the ave a few blocks away that screams WE ARE HERE WE NEED MONEY says it all. I remember when it pointed the wrong way too. Not that it made any difference.

In the few times I have been to this bar I have been very disappointed!! The bar has lots of potential, but I havent seen any change over the last few months. Food has been mediocre at best. Order a medium done burger and out comes a hockey puck... an inedible piece of meat that has a greasy and burnt flavor from sitting on the grill for way too long. The grilled wings are inconsistent too. Sometimes they are perfectly cooked while other times they are too blackened... sometimes you are delivered a dozen wings other times less. Service can be very iffy. Other than a couple friendly bartenders, the staff just is not very welcoming. Management is nonexistent. No one ever checks in and asks how you are doing. To be more specific Rod the GM never checks up on guest while he is too busy handing out free shots to the ladies to impress . Over abuse of his title I would say. The bartenders look like they have no sense of bartending knowledge as I seen a girl confused at the question of what an IPA is. The bartender king looks like shes lost when on bar and looks miserable. They need a sophisticated staff not a ghetto bunch the name of the tilted kilt and the brand is vanishing quicker than they will be able to realize.

Dont trust 5 stars. I am sure they are the owners relatives or any person the owner knows. I went there before 7 pm and nobody was there in front desk and waited around 10 or 20 mins. The waiter came up but it seems like she deals with everything like guiding, serving and cooking etc. Once she go back to kichen, she never come back. After 40 mins since we have ordered, she came back and talk to us the ingredient ran out. We ordered again, but it came out after 1 hours. So we were there before 7 pm and ate dinner around 9 pm. But she didnt give source like salsa and fork, knives, napkins. So we have to wait another 20 mins until she comes back. How can we eat the food without any fork, knives. This is America, not Africa. Also we couldnt order almost food in menu, no ingredient or they dont offer the food in menu. And she never came back for drink or any other orders. You cannot see waiters at all in the restaurant. I felt like the waiter goes to market and buy the ingredient and cook whenever customers order. Also, all food together- appetizer main food. Apitizer comes after 2 hours. The taste was horrible, too. I could make better than that Another thing, I understand why the restarant is empty.

While eating dinner on a Saturday night at 7 oclock, the managers had the wait staff come to our table at 7:30 to tell us that they would be charging us an additional $10 at 8 because they were showing the fight at 9. Number one, you are a sports bar. Your brand is to show sports and therefore you dont charge people additional money while they are purchasing food and drinks from you because you decided to show the fight. Numbwr two, i guess the $80 that i was spending was not enough. The wait staff was very apologetic, but the level of greed from the managers was something I never seen. They met at least 6 times to discuss the situation, clearly because everyone walking in was upset. I even saw one of the managers chase 4 people down to stay after hearing there was a $10 cover per person just to eat. The place was empty and not only did we leave, but the managers single handedly took away a giant tip that the waitress would have received had we ordered our intended food for the night. Ive never been to an establishment that charges cover for to already paying customers...if they keep this up, they surely will go out of business.
