I waited over 40 minutes for a small water ice and left without it (already paid) because the end of the wait seemed nowhere in sight. The sidewalks were so jammed that I couldnt even get through to go to a better dessert place and had to walk in the street. I wont be back, and have no idea why there were so many customers there when there are so many better options in Avalon.

Yes the prices are steep, but you are in Avalon NJ and they have a great product. TIP - dont fall for ordering a "small" consisting of two scoops. Its a pile of ice cream. They conveniently hide a one scoop "kiddie" option at the bottom of the menu board.

Generous serving sizes, homemade waffle cones, delicious flavors, friendly service and regular live entertainment make Buccaneers an easy trip to repeat. (Go during the day for a quick stop; its crazy popular in the evenings!)

Huuuuge scoops of ice cream! A small was big enough for my husband, me, and my toddler to share. The ice cream itself was rich and creamy with lots of great flavors to choose from

Ice cream is great. Great variety of choices. Line moved quickly. There happened to be music playing live outside. Highly recommended. Come hungry, the scoops are huge.
