Been coming to this one since I was a teenager and my mom lived in south Reno. Always good food and friendly staff at that time, 2000-2005. More specifically and recently (February) I was using a walker due to a bad car accident. My husband wanted to take me to an early valentines dinner as I had been bed ridden for a month. My husband called and discussed the situation, which they were more than happy to handle. Upon arriving it was crazy busy, weekend before valentines, of course. We had no delay, maybe a three minute wait time, my husband had made a reservation though. They took us to a table that was exactly what was needed for my condition. A bit out of the way, table, not booth, for two. Our waitress, a sweet lady named bonnie I believe, I hope Im right because she was fantastic! She was attentive and friendly. I am a server (when not using a walker) and I pay attention to my servers when I go out. She was great, she was on it. I notice this because the table next to us kept her running all over the place, refills, extra cups, sauces, plates ect, every time she returned to the table. To top it off our table and the one next to us were tucked in a corner. She also had multiple tables in another section. When the food came out mine was exact perfection. My husband however was unhappy that the sausage in the sausage ravioli was pureed not chunked sausage. Though he hates to complain, as I said I am a server, and we would definitely preffer you let us fix it than be unhappy with the meal and the experience. So I told our wonderful server and she said "no problem what else would you like?" Within five minutes a fresh dish, entirely diffrent from his first order, arrived via the manager. Who was also very understanding, friendly and completley professional. We had a wonderful experience and should we ever be sounth again or crave olive garden we shall return here. They truly made the experience great, even though they were clearly busy that night.

We came in from out of state, having driven for over 8 hours straight. We had 8 adults and 6 kids. Although he did ask where we were from, the server was very rude, and had a condescending tone with all of us. We were very hungry and wanted to order the main meal right away, skipping any appetizers. He made a point of getting our drinks first without listening to any of us and interrupted to tell us hes getting appetizer orders first after we clearly said no appetizers for the group. When he finally came out with drinks he asked if all we would order was soup. All the while he had raised eyebrows and a very negative attitude. I understand big groups are hard to serve but all of our kids were extremely well behaved and sat quietly. We were all polite to him from the start. The servers name was Steven. The only reason this experience got one star was because the food came out fairly quickly. But then again we came in for an early dinner at 4. So it wasnt too busy at all. And their water tasted like lake/sewage water. We had to hold our breath to drink it.

Before you go here, understand that this is a fast food chain disguised as an Italian restaurant. That being said, the service was excellent. I feel like the only reason why Olive Garden is still alive is because of the service. Ive been to multiple different Olive Gardens and the service is always exceptional. We always ask for extra chocolate mints and they always give us handfuls. The staff at this place was very patient and understanding. The prices are almost too good especially the all you can eat lunch deals and they bring up your food really fast, but the pasta is pretty bad. Unless you like to have some pasta in your very oily and not fully melted cheese (5 cheese zito). The drinks are either not sweet at all or too sweet (mixed berry drink v. smoothie). Aside from that the starter wine was surprisingly good and they are very generous with the salad and breadsticks.

Terrible. My wife and I ate here on her birthday, because we had received a gift card. We both ordered the sirloin and lobster ravioli. She had soup, I had salad. The salad was unimpressive, but whatever. She said the soup was decent. The lobster ravioli had little to no lobster, and was drenched in what appeared to be some type of melted cheese product that you would get with gas station nachoes. The sauce was so salty that nether of us could even eat it. The steaks, which we ordered rare, did arrive to us at the correct temperature. However, these were also so salty that neither of us were able to get past the first bite. Even after drinking my whole glass of beer, and leaving and having another glass of beer, I still cant get the taste of all that salt out of my mouth. My advise is to avoid the Olive Garden, save your money and buy a salt lick.

By far the best experience Ive ever had at olive garden. My fianceé and I sat at the bar and the bartender, Alexis, was amazing. She offered to help me and I sampled 3 different wines trying to find the one I liked the last time I was here. The food was correct and fast and Alexis was very attentive to us despite the many other tasks she was doing at the same time during dinner rush. I still want cannolis on the menu, but its not their fault they dont have them. The barback with the manbun was super helpful too. Visits like this make me come back!! Im a super picky guest and they didnt leave room for me to complain even if I wanted to. 10/10 customer service. I cannot say enough good things.

Pricey menu for what you are getting. I ordered ravioli and Gnocchi soup. I got ONE Gnocchi noodle and the ravioli was flavorless. I have tried both restaurants. The one on South Virginia has bad service and I had to send my order back Twice, as they brought me the Wrong order!! My son ordered off the regular menu and they brought him a dish with FRENCH FRIES!! Not what he ordered. We did not like the attitude of the servers either. They are unwilling to fix mistakes and want to blame everyone else for what went wrong. I dont care, just bring me the right order and good quality food when it is the correct order. I would recommend going to Macaroni grill if you want Italian food.

Our experience with Olive Garden has always been great food and great service. But I would like to especially call out, on this review, their community service "awesomeness"! The General Manager was so professional and accommodating when I approached him for a donation for a special senior luncheon at our local high school. Our high schoolers love Olive Garden and were so excited to see that all the breadsticks were donated by them to go with our Italian themed luncheon. It was a big hit and our school is so grateful for Olive Gardens generosity. Thank you Luke, Hannah and your awesome staff!!!

Awful! Awful! Awful! Yuck! Only had pizza and salad. The pizza was dry with little sauce with the consistency of a cardboard-like frozen pizza. The overpriced chicken Caesar salad was lettuce topped with a bit of chicken breast strips DROWNING in thick gooey dressing that obviously had just come from a giant plastic bottle. The service was polite but came to the table so often it was very distracting. If you enjoy a loud mall-like atmosphere with overpriced mediocre food and faux Mediterranean junk on the walls, then this is the place for you...
