My problem with this place is it is always WAY too crowded whenever I stop by. Despite having only mediocre Mcdonalds like food, fresh fries yes but way too thin, In-N-Out is almost always packed. Shoestring fries really? They are always gross no matter where you get them. Their burgers are a bit better than their fries, but nothing to write home about. I would give them a better rating if they only just added more to their menu, actually if they added their secret menu to their actual menu, they would get a better rating. Their options are very very limited. Basically they only have a regular cheese burger, and a double cheese burger and some shakes on their menu and that is literally it. I understand people only go here because they feel some kind of 50s nostalgia, but seriously am I really going to go to a burger place and NOT get bacon on my burger? There are so few options on their menu they had to have a expansive secret menu that still doesnt have any bacon options on their menu. I always feel cheated whenever I go there, because it always seems like they have a one size fits all menu. I have no idea why they are always so busy, yeah they show their fries being freshly made, but they certainly do not taste like it. Other burger joints had better fries when they had their natural cut fries. The fries at Five Guys, Fuddruckers, and Red Robin are far far better, and surprisingly are actually less crowded than In-N-Out crappy burger and fries. Again I must stress how over crowded this place always is, I once had to wait in line for over 40 minutes, because of the ten or twelve cars in front of me. No way is it worth it to wait in line like this at a fast food restaurant. I would rather go to Mcdonalds and get tasteless burgers than go to this place and feel like they decide what you want and you have no other options. If you want really good California based burger chains go to the much harder to find but so much more worth the wait Umami Burgers in Las Vegas, San Francisco, and numerous other better cities.

What is fast food ? You order, they pull it off a shelf, and hand it to you from a heat lamp. At In N Out Burger, not the case. Your order , they build your burger from the bottom up. Give them some time. The customer service will blow you away. There are no freezers no microwaves no heat lamps. Fresh buns are made daily and all product and produce are delivered to every single location in 4 states from 2 warehouses every other day!! Questions about bible verses on cups and burger bags??? Ex-owner Guy Snyder, those were just his favorite burgers. All the meat is fresh and never frozen! All lettuce is cored and leafed at the store, tomatoes are sliced about ever 30 minutes potatoes are hand cleaned, sliced and cooked in 100% cholesterol free cottonseed oil. Any thing you will ever need help with, the In N Out associates are there for their customers. I have witnessed them changing tires on customers cars, lending customers their own cell phones , printing maps and driving directions, helping customers to their cars with food, rescuing loose dogs found in the parking lot and much more. Think about this. How many times has a mcdonalds burger king carls jr employee opened and held a door for you with a smile. The In N Out associates care for the customers and want you back. Always feel free to ask them for help with anything !

In N Out has great burgers, fries, shakes and drinks at very reasonable prices. The location here is right off of the freeway and around noon its especially busy. Seems like its pretty crowded inside so seating isnt easy, but if you wait and watch, you can typically grab up a table when someone is done. They are VERY HELPFUL and carefully prepare something for my child with food allergies, this is one of the few restaurants we are able to enjoy as a family! They take extra precautions to avoid cross contamination. Also the people out on the floor, namely Ron, were incredibly kind and helpful, came to the table and brought hats and stickers for the kids, brought us a high chair, offered us placemats for the kids and continued to check in us even until we finished. Kudos to this location and the kind and helpful staff!

@Lynn Chapman, their burgers are always a little red in the middle, they know where their beef comes from and its handled clean and safe so they are able to make their burgers medium rare (which is one thing I really admire about them.) However mcdonalds, or pretty much any other fast food places that get their meat from inhumane slaughterhouses dont know where their meat has been, therefor they can never have a rare burger. You will find in lots of nice restaurants they know where their ground beef comes from and they are able to cook it medium rare. Just because the middle of the patty is red does not mean its bad, (depending on where you get your burger from!) In fact its usually better, especially if you dont like your steak well done! I feel bad you did not get to eat such a savory burger and decided to throw it out!

I will preface this review by stating that I have never been to any In-N-Out diner before. On our honeymoon out to Lake Tahoe, my husband and I decided we couldnt get this close to the coast and NOT try some classic fast food from this chain. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was so nice (they started serving people after 10 am even though their posted hours are 10:30 am). We ordered one normal cheeseburger, one animal style, and the same with fries (normal and animal style). The burgers were good. The buns were a nice texture, and the meat tasted really good. The fries though, were NOT good. They were slightly warm and tasted old and stale. No amount of cheese or sauce can make up for stale fries.

Well I finally did get to try the burger joint everyone, and I mean EVERYONE is bugging me to try. And wow was I surprised when I actually tried it. The fries are cardboard with no taste, probably overcooked. The burgers patties were uncooked, im pretty sure there was a trainee working for the first time but honestly it shouldnt have tasted THAT bad. Im going to give it another go, if I dont like it then take my 1 star rating.

They did great for how busy they were the only problem I had was I had to ask to have my stuff to go. Which is really no big deal. The was just no room to sit any where. In the summer they should have shaded outdoor seating. I would have gladly day outside if it wasnt in the sin on hot tables. No one was sitting outside. Im sure if the outdoor seating was covered more people would be dining out side.

Food tastes like any other In and Out (fresh and well made). The only downside is that this location has long (like, really long) drive-thru queues at busy times of the day. The drive-thru queue has at least 12 to 15 cars during lunch and dinner times. So be prepared to wait. Dine in is not any faster either. However, the staff is very patient and polite. Be prepared to wait or go during non peak hours.
